If there's 28 left then that sounds less like BS and more like "Beerus and Freeza worked too hard''.
If it's 28 now and it was always 28 minus whatever Freeza/Beerus destroyed then Supreme Kai sucks at his job.

I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!Dragonball Fusions introduces Gomas, a fusion of Goku and Zamasu. Which should physically be a clone of Merged Zamasu, given Goku Black and Future Zamasu are Zamasu's soul in Goku's body and a separate instance of Present Zamasu. It's kind of odd to think there's a fusion of Cell and Android 17, given they already share a body. I wonder what kind of personality Goku and Zamasu's soul merging together would create
Black Goku only dumber?
@ Soble: That article is confusing people, when Shin means 28 planets left, he means 28 planets WITH MORTAL LIFE left in the universe. And that should be 28 after Buu, Beerus and Frieza did all their shit.
Gomasu is the EX fusion of Kid Goku and Zamasu, which is 1/2 Goku and 1/2 Zamasu. Merged Zamasu is the patora fusion of Goku Black and Zamasu, which is technically 1/4 Goku and 3/4 Zamasu.
Also, I'm pretty damn sure Cell 17 was supposed to be an EX fusion with Cell and Super 17, because it has his outfit and not Lapis'.
EDIT: More spoilers for episode 85 came out...
It seems the other Gods of Destructions are going to try to target Universe 7.

Well, this is definitely not going to end well, especially between Universes 6 and 7. Also, Urist isn't good at destroying things.
Ha ha ha. What a story, Mark. After Goku told to their faces "Come at me, Gods" and giving a terrible impression to Universe 9 and 11 fighters? NO FUCKING SURPRISE!
Holy shit, the amount of incompetency from Universe 7 is giving me a headache. I need Team Four Star to make fun of it.

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.Hold on, why do Universes 1, 5, 8, and 12 care?

This song needs more love.Yes, because Universe 7 is totally going to to get wiped out, totally.
Is a free tournament, is going to be fun to watch.

To win, you need to adapt, and to adapt, you need to be able to laugh away all the restraints. Everything holding you back.At least Shin has the excuse of being essentially drafted into the position, basically an inexperienced noob straight outta Kai college who is witness to all of his superiors getting brutally murdered by an Eldritch Abomination and given the top position by default with little to no training or experience. He could have some of the blame by using his philosophy of non-interference as an excuse to not take risks and cover up his own inexperience, but really the truly incompetent one here is Beerus, as he had the power to flat-out destroy threats like Frieza and, depending on when he was active, the original Buu before things got THAT bad, but does not out of laziness.
Only reason U7 is not dead last is because the people running U9 are even WORSE at their jobs.
Also, I would not be surprised if only U6 is higher than U7 by 0.5 while all the rest of the competing universe have scores that completely cluster the 6 - 7 range, with U11 being the highest at merely 6.99.

DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!Is it weird that I find Beerus not as intimidating or scary as I did before like in Battle of Gods movie?
Its like he's lost all of his menace & all I see is an incompetent sloth with too much power.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Isn't that how we are supposed to see him? While he does have the occasional scene of menace mostly he is as you said. Lazy and incompetent l.
Remember how the show was arguing for Kai non-interference in the previous arc? What happened to that?
Beerus stopped being menacing because Goku doesn't treat him like that anymore.
Saying the last arc argued for non interference is simplifying it a bit.
I agree that while Shin has made his mistakes, most of it stems from not being fully qualified for his job.
While the Non-interference idea stands for all Kaioshin / Supreme Kais, perhaps if he'd been given the training he was supposed to receive, he'd have been a little better at knowing when and when not to step in.
It also doesn't help that the Saiyans just ignored him when he did try to guide them. Goku and Vegeta consistently chose the worse option for dealing with Buu, and while Gohan did pay attention once they were on their own, he ultimately failed, leaving Shin to deal with those two idiots again.
Now, if Beerus had been awake, he could have stopped Frieza, or if Shin had received his full training, he'd have known about Beerus and could have filled him in on the lizard man's existence.
Not that we could be sure Beerus would have done anything though. He clearly does what he pleases.
So Shin fucked up, but at least he tries.
One Strip! One Strip! It's weird, because Shin pulls the whole "is a god, but is untrained, weaker than the protagonists and out of his depth dealing with basically anything until he gets the mentor he desperately needed" vibe, but for a while he was also the only example of what a Kaioshin was that we had. Then Old Kai came along, but the nature of his powers are explicitly uncommon for a Kai (so we don't know how strong he would've been had he not obtained them), leaving Shin the only real example of a "Kai who fights" again. Until Zamasu, who was in another league entirely.
Which makes me wonder - while Zamasu is noted as being uncommonly strong for a Kai, we also have reason to believe Shin is on the weaker side of the spectrum and it's difficult to tell which of the two (if either) is the norm for Kais. Likewise, some of the Kais we've met so far seem to interfere and associate with the mortals of their universe far more liberally. Maybe the average power level and degree of interference for a Kai is somewhere in between.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. That depends, are we talking all Kais or just the gold fruit ones?
Also I just realized, if the Tree of Might was originally from the gods, wouldn't that make it an altered Kai Tree? Was Turles eating baby Kais? Did Rou just give Basil a baby Kai!?
THE IMPLI-FUCKING-CATIONS!

I assume default Kaioshin strength is somewhere around Cell-Buu Saga Super Saiyan 2 characters. Shin's just like, 16 in Kaioshin years. Also, to be fair, while 'noob out of his depth' is the vibe Shin gives off nowadays, I feel he still gave off some vibes of that even when he was our only example of a Kaioshin.
I think South Supreme Kai might have been Super Saiyan 3 level only he sucked less than Super Saiyan 3 does.
Waiting for anything Dragon Ball Super related is like watching paint dry.
Ha ha ha. What a story, Mark.x4: Wait, THE KAIS ARE GROWN FROM TREES?!?!?!?
DAMMIT MARK, STOP HOTTING HELPY!!Yeah, it's been common knowledge for almost a decade now.
The Daizenshuu had stated from Toriyama that the Kais/Shinjins are grown from special trees and born as fruit. Normal fruits grow into common kais like King Kai and Grand Kai, while golden fruit grow into special kais that are eventually trained into Supreme Kais, like Shin and the late Zamasu.
Also, it we take Online, Xenoverse and Heroes into consideration, it seems Makai/Demons are grown in a similar manner.

They probably planted a rotten golden fruit for Zamasu.
Ha ha ha. What a story, Mark.
What's the difference...?
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.
