Upon reviewing your first profile, Spidey, acceptance revoked. The implications of a limitless number of magical items crafted by your character at her almost instant access, in addition to being able to make spells hit her targets instantaneously(even the Carefree Witch, an old and powerful magician, can't pull off something like that) are standing out a lot more to me now then when I looked the bio over the first time. I'm very sorry for making you think I accepted her only to take it back, but I didn't realize all the implications when I first read the bio. Again, I'm sorry.

• Name: Samael
• Age: Old. So very, very old.
• Gender: Female
• Species: Angel
• Appearance: "You play Texas Hold 'Em, I test the human soul. Potato potatoh, tomato tomatoh."
• Personality: A saint and a temptress. Your judge and your lawyer, and both of the little angels on your shoulder. Most angels are less white and good than they'd like to admit, but Samael is one of the few who, by nature, is both good and evil. She tempts, seduces, plays tricks, and has a hell of a time doing it. But at the same time, she does it to test the mettle of your soul, and your true character. Samael's idea of morality may be a little different, but she's rarely openly antagonistic. She's friendly towards humans, but you would be too if you could tell which people weren't jackasses before you decided to start hanging out with them. Loves to tease and play jokes on people, and has a very snarky and sardonic sense of humor (usually black humor).
• History: The angel of souls. Her job is to test the souls of men, to expose both the darkness and the light within, and offer up what she finds upon the day of the soul's final judgment. She's a ferry of souls. Not the reaper, but the collector. She can know a man by looking into his eyes, and see what lies in his soul. This is and continues to be her job. An angel of both good and evil to put to test the souls of men. Recently, she's decided to take something of a holiday, joining the angel exodus for an extended trip to Earth in her actual, physical form. Currently, she's looking for somewhere to crash.
• Abilities: Her eyes can plumb the depths of a man's soul. The blue eye sees all that is good, and the yellow one all that is evil. A specialist in Mind Rape, although she prefers More than Mind Control over any sort of holy ability. Possesses the ability to bilocate, capable of being in many places at once. This trait is necessary for someone who ferries souls, although these bilocated copies are more akin to thoughtform, and don't possess a true physical form in the way Samael does. She's not very powerful beyond that, incapable of interfering with death until the soul has left the body, but she doesn't need to be to do her job. Like most angels, she can toggle her wings and halo on and off.

What Anno specifically means is that angels in this setting have nothing to do with the afterlife or souls of the dead.

That, and the wings/halo thing was just Amitiel. Apparently it's not all that common for them all to have them.

Your description of angels is remarkably unhelpful in regards to what is allowed, I'm afraid. All I really get from that is that they're a race of supermen who live in Heaven and are led by Archangels. That leaves much open to interpretation.

Now see, if I had known that from the beginning...

It's been made a bit more clearer in the description. I'm really sorry for any confusion this may have caused.

Now, mind control and mind rape aren't acceptable as powers, it's basically a license to godmod. That and I frown on those powers being used in RPs anyway.

Also, figured I should mention that Moerin and Grey Star are hammering out details for both Hell and Demons.

Ah, alright, how about these two?

• Name: Akira Akuji
• Age: 17
• Gender: Male
• Race: Human
• Appearance: Akira has brown eyes, and black, slicked back hair. He stands tall with his broad shoulders, emphisizing his physical strength. For wear he wears a white T-shirt under a usually unzipped dark green parka. For legwear, he uses black cargo pants and sneakers. He always seems to have a brooding expression on his face.
• Personality: Akira is usually blunt with others, if he's not being quiet. With his face, it generally gives him the aura of a thug. However people willing to look past that will find out he's just straight forward, and honest with his feelings. In terms of work, he doesn't do much when it comes to things that doesn't interest him. Things that do interest him, like his hobbies, will have him focus on them intently. As for his thoughts about the opposite sex, he doesn't find them facinating, or any reason to treat them any differently. In fact, he doesn't seem to react to most things other than indifference, so he appears to be utterly incapable of being surprised.
• Abilities: He is very athletic, able to handle himself in a fight. However, he doesn't have any formal training, so he uses his raw strength and speed instead. Being a Onmyodo in training, he is at the very least, able to use ofuda seals. He can throw them as projectile weapons, which will weigh down anyone that it hits. He can also use them as impromtu armor, strengthening and protecting his fists or as a handy shield.
• Brief History: The Akuji clan are Onmyodo, who fought against evil spirits. Akira himself however, only wishes to live his school life, and sees his family practice as another kind of hobby. Although he often goes with Haru for finding any rogue spirits or the such.

• Age: Very old, but takes the appearance of a 20-year old when he has to.
• Gender: Male
• Race: Inugami
• Appearance: Normally he appears as a rather large grey-fured Hokkaido. However when need to be, he takes human form. Which looks like this without the cape◊.
• Personality: Haru is lazy and rude. He doesn't like being the protector of the Akuji family, and it shows. However with the newest Akuji, he has softened somewhat, treating Akira more like a friend than a master. He also likes being a little flirty with women, if only to tease them. He also hates being called "Hachi", although it turns to irritation if someone close to him like Akira uses it.
• Abilities: He has superhuman physical prowess and wields a naginata which he can summon for use. He can sense the supernatural,.Otherwise, his other abilities like possession are sealed, in case he goes rampant.
• Brief History: Conjured and made to guard the Akuji family, Haru wasn't happy to do this role, to guide them on their path. Which was why he was very relieved when the most recent descendant not only didn't imposed various restrictions to what Haru could do, but also treated him more like someone else than a tool to be used.

• Name: Shiro Kurosaki
• Age: Was 16 when she died. Pretty much trapped that way now.
• Gender: Female
• Race: Zombie, formerly human.
• Appearance: Harm my play-mate and join me in death!
• Personality: Before death - Casual and carefree, with a love of competition. Now that she's a zombie thanks to her old nekomata rival? More or less the same, except with a new-found protective streak over the one who gave her 'life'. Putting her in harms way seems to bring out a new side to Shiro. She seems to have taken her death and revival pretty well, along with the whole 'Sachiko's a nekomata' thing, but she keeps her feelings for Sachiko hidden, deciding there's not much point to them now.
• Abilities: Used to prefer fighting with wooden swords, but ended up taking that weapon upon zombification. She's actually pretty good with it. Also won't die unless Sachiko stops feeding her magic, but is still vulnerable to things like dismemberment.
• Brief History: Liked swordplay of various sorts in life, and grew up with dreams of being a master swordswoman. By chance, she met a 'young' Sachiko and they became fierce rivals and also friends. Shiro even found herself falling for said rival... until a tragic accident occurred. It's thanks to Sachiko she's still around.

Actually... swapping Sariel for this person, though she's still around as an NPC, I guess.

• Name: Belle
• Age: Unknown, apparently twentyish.
• Gender: Female
• Race: Demon
• Appearance: "Why did... why did you wake me up? >.<"*
  Minus the actual design on the pillow. Yes, she goes out in her pyjamas. >.>
• Personality: One of the sleepiest people in existence, those that wake Belle up had better have something that makes it worth it, even if it's a kiss or their services as a temporary pillow. She's been known to move her bedding into other people's houses just for the company. On those rare occasions where she is awake? Otaku demon.
  She tends to ignore people when they start whining about her method of dress. It's not as if there's anything indecent showing...
• Abilities: Absorbing punishment. More specifically, it takes a vast amount of damage—physical or magical—to actually do her any injury. The downside is that effects intended to heal or buff her, such as anything from being a demon, fail to work, leaving her with human capabilities (and matching fragility in attire) aside from her endurance.
  She's also a profoundly gifted inventor. Regrettably, she tends to spend all that effort on improving games consoles or rigging up booby-traps because someone's annoyed her too much. She never actually seems to make weapons, though she no doubt could, and is therefore slightly less dangerous than a man with a knife.
• Brief History: Here with Maggot, Belle's actual reason, aside from 'holiday' and 'she*

Ok, I've figured out a first potential character (and have another awaiting comment).

• Alias: Kutsuu
• Age: 22
• Gender: Male
• Race: Human
• Appearance: Oddly pale white skin. Short, thin build. Short black hair with widows peak. Brown eyes. Covered in various injuries, mainly scars and bruises. Wears formal black shoes and trousers, a white formal shirt and a black jacket, all significantly damaged and dirty. Also wears a long black trench-coat, reaching down to the floor.
• Personality: Generally quiet and stoic, not showing much information. Does whatever he wishes, generally without explaining justification and attempts to get in odd situations whenever possible. Doesn't understand other people at all.
• Abilities: Physically, while fairly weak and slow, he is reasonably agile and stealthy and can aim a gun well.
  • Miraculous Existence: Willpower Pistol-E: What appears to be a simple and normal pistol, but fires not bullets but glowing projectiles formed miraculously from the user's willpower, draining their stamina somewhat. Power varies based on the condition of the user, but at most will only be the strength of a normal pistol, leaving it's main advantages at reloading not being an issue and an amount of bullets potentially larger than what one could carry if the user can muster them.
• Brief History: An orphan from birth as his father died during his mother's pregnancy and his mother died in childbirth, leaving him unnamed, he was raised by an abusive foster parent until he was five, then dumped in an alley and left to fend for himself. He managed to get by leeching off others and preforming legal and illegal tasks for money and food. He eventually became tangled up in the masquerade and started focusing his life around the weirder things he was now aware of. Eventually he came into possession of the miraculous existence he wields, a simple pistol powered by willpower, for use when deadly force was required.

Right, um... main issue is your backstory. An E-rank ME might be a miracle, but it's not something worth trying to steal(also, thinking about it, that pistol is more E material, maybe E+). It'd be like trying to steal the Wings of Icarus, it's kind of not really worth bothering with.

Hmm... First of all, like I said, I'll leave the rank up to you for a definitive decision. I'll change the backstory of the weapon to something even less significant.

Finally posting a character! :D I should point out that I'll be controlling various villains that you will encounter, with Anno's permission of course. Hope you enjoy the arcs we cooked up~

Anyway, enjoy a wolf:

• Name: Hibiki Suzuki
• Age: 126 (yes, years)
• Gender: Male
• Race: Werewolf
• Appearance: A man such as myself would rather read a book than fight, thank you.
• Personality: A kind man in general, though he tends to look over his shoulder a lot. While he seems to be carrying around baggage, he always tries to make sure that he doesn't offend anyone. However, a life as long as his has left him a bit harsher than he intends to be, at times. He often tries to settle arguments peacefully when possible, and in this way is often the mediator.
• Abilities: As a human, he only has the physical abilities of such, except that as his appearance would suggest he is physically rather frail and incapable of much. He's fairly intelligent as his age would suggest, and has seen a lot of things even of the non-magical variety.
  • Curse of the Wolf: Every full moon, he shifts into a powerful wolf creature against his will. This creature takes control of his mind and is a being of unspeakable wrath and bloodthirst. It is impervious to harm from any physical attack that does not use Silver, and cannot be harmed by magical attacks that are less than a miracle, and even silver used to cut off his limbs won't stop the limbs from coming back if given enough time. Fire, however, harms him and will stop the regenerative process. Wolf's Bane will deter him as well, making the werewolf refuse to go anywhere near the plant.
    • Side Effect of being a werewolf that's good is that, while human, he has a rather impressive increase to his healing rate, where small scratches heal instantly, and larger wounds (Of any kind, even broken bones) can be healed with a good night's rest. He isn't sure (and doesn't want to find out) if he would regrow an entire limb or not, however.
    • Chains that Bind the Wolf: Magic Chains given to him by someone while he was visiting Norway, special chains said to be connected to the ones that "Bind Fenrir until the times of Ragnarok". While he had his doubts, they were definitely made of silver if nothing else. He ties himself down with them and to a tree, and while he's a wolf he cannot gain the strength needed to break free of the tree, nor can he undo the chains until he's human, as the chains have the uncanny magical affect of not being able to be undone by anyone but humans.
  • Dark Arts: He has studied a book of dark magic given to him by a witch, and from it has learned many forms of curse and hex. He deals with the various backlashes by being absurdly careful and aware, and his healing factor is a nice bonus.
    • Curses: Various bad things that will happen to the target. The more stuff obtained that belongs to the target the more powerful the curse. However, the more powerful the curse the more powerful the backlash, as whatever energy you give out into the world is returned to you three times over.
    • Hex: A quick burst of bad luck is given to a target, causing some sort of horrible accident to happen very soon. The bad luck comes back to the caster with three times as much effect.
    • Black Deal: By sacrificing a limb, can obtain incredible powers for a short duration. He has never used this before.
    • Force of the Curse: Under the light of at least a 3/4 moon, he is capable of calling forth the wolf and becoming a full blown wolf form with the lack of control and everything. He has no need for using this, but as this is the closest he came to a spell that would cure him or at least give him some control, he can use it.
• Brief History: He has spent over a century as a werewolf, and it has grown tiresome. It happened while he was out, a wolf attacked him and he ended up in the hospital. Surprisingly, the wounds healed rather quickly and he was home before the next full moon.
  
  He spent the first year or so of being a werewolf in denial as all his loved ones slowly died off from attacks at the full moon by 'animal attacks'. One day he finally realized it was him, and he left his home country of Japan by Plane to go to Europe, where he heard such things were much more common. He attempted to find people who could lead him on the path to finding a cure, and the best bet he ever found was an old witch who gave him a book of dark magic and taught him the various things you don't do with it.
  
  He returned to Japan, years enough that nobody here recognize him, and instead of going to his hometown he went to Shukufuku, where his grandparents had lived and their house had been left in disrepair. He fixed the place up, and took claim to his new home.

• Name: Alphaeus (Al) Boveri
• Age: 27
• Gender: Male
• Race: Human
• Appearance: Looks VAGUELY FAMILIAR◊
• Personality: Alphaeus has a good head on his shoulders and a sense of humor to go with it. Kind and curtious, he'll talk and talk until you tell him to shut up. He's the type of guy to open doors for complete strangers, help people pick up books when they drop them, he's just that type of guy. He has another side to him. A strong sense of justice and a willingness to act for the greater good.
• Abilities: Al has a very strange ability. No matter what he confronts, he's capable of copying and mimicing the other person's power or abilities regardless of what they are. This ability is known as Equalizer. It's limited to 1/2 the strength of the original, but it's enough to keep the opponent at bay long enough to help those in danger. The higher strength the ability, the more energy Al is forced to exert to maintain it. Each time he uses this power he risks his life regardless of the situation. The drawbacks of the ability don't stop there. He can only copy a single ability or power at a time, and it's just temporary.
• Brief History: Alphaeus mother died when he was small after losing a hard fought battle with Leukemia. That was when he was around the age of five. Afterward, he continued to live with his grief stricken father who worked on the police force. He knew nothing of the super natural, or magic, it was just a normal life. His grades in school were above average, he had friends, life was more than typical for him. After he graduated from High School, he decided to become a lawyer. Four years of college and a diploma later, he achieved that dream.

•Name: Lord Ferdinand Lieberenz

•Age: 500 years old; though he looks to be in his thirties.

•Gender: male

•Race: vampire

•Appearance: [1]◊

•Personality: A very serious vampire with a flair for drama, and few scrupples. He has no problem killing people for food; though he tends to keep his feeding to a minimum to avoid drawing attention. He has nothing against humanity; but believes that it is the duty of himself and his kin to "Keep the population down and give them something to be afraid of". He has a soft spot for children; and will attempt to kill anyone who raises a hand against them. He claims that he has no heart and that his various flings with human women were just to satisfy his boredom. However, his tendency to occasionally send his minions to spy on his ex-lovers seems to indicate that this is a lie.

•Abilities: Besides being stronger and faster than a normal human; he has the ability to shapeshift into any nocturnal creature (though he prefers bats); turn into mist and survive things that ought would kill a human. However, he also has a number of weaknesses, including holy water, sunlight, and fire (though to be fair, most things are weak against fire). Getting stabbed through the heart paralyzes him until the stake is removed.

•Brief History: He does not remember his life before he became a vampire, nor does he care to discover it. His first memory was waking up alone in a cave with a hunger for blood. Since that day, he travelled the world in hopes of finding a place to stay. Unfortunately, any home he found proved to be temporary; as his hunger for blood always caused him to be discovered.

Throughout the years he romanced many human women; though only once did the union result in a child. He did not discover the child's existance until he was informed by one of his minions. Curious about this incredibly unlikely phenominon; he made arrangements to meet the girl in person. This backfired, however, when she attempted to kill him the moment he revealed he was a vampire. He managed to escape the girl with his life; and since then has made Shukufuku his new place of residence in order to watch her from afar.

If there's something about vampires in this verse I'm messing up, feel free to point it out.

• Name: Aphrodisia
• Age: Thousands of years old
• Gender: Female
• Race: Vampire
• Appearance: Except she wears the cross the right way.
• Personality: Condescending. Grumpy. Sarcastic. Generally a very pissing off person. Aphrodisia may not look her age, but she certainly acts it. She seems to believe that her age not only makes her entitled, but superior as well, and will generally treat anyone younger than her (that is to say, almost everyone) like a newborn child being taught to walk. She's so arrogant, "back in my day" is practically her catchphrase. She turns her nose at newer vampires, who she sees as copies, knockoffs and straight-up mockeries of the genuine article (which is funny, because even with how old she is, she doesn't know if there was anyone before her or not).
• Abilities: A "true" vampire, free of the dilution which led to today's *shudders* "modern vampires". She cannot be killed in any traditional sense. Mortal injuries piss her off, destroying her body earns you a few minutes while she resets the bone, even full on burning her alive won't earn you more than a few hours. Traditional legend states that to kill a vampire of her caliber, one must stake the heart, cut off the head, burn the body to ashes, and spread the remains at a crossroads under a full moon. And that'll get you a year, tops. The best way to keep her down is to cut her into pieces and make sure every piece is locked up tight in its own, separate container. Her staggering aversion to death aside, she surprisingly lacks many of the potentially useful vampiric derivations developed over the years. For example, she cannot turn herself into any kind of animal, fly, turn her fingernails into claws, or change her body in any significant way. She doesn't have much magical potential either, retaining what she had when she was human (which is to say, not much). Her physical abilities are superhuman, but that much is a trait expected of vampires. She is extremely charismatic, and her voice provokes a post-hypnotic response, making people more likely to do what she says. Again, standard vampire stuff. Getting back to different things, she is unaffected by garlic or other herbs rumored to keep vampires at bay, and can cross running water. She can walk on hallowed ground and generally isn't bothered by anything blessed or holy, since her condition is a natural mutation rather than one produced by or tainted with black magic. Finally, she does require blood to survive (duh), and while it can be animal blood, she craves human blood, and giving her anything else will leave her markedly... grumpy. She doesn't require enough to kill someone to feed (for example, she could technically feed off of one person, should she find a willing volunteer), and on the topic of her bite, it surprisingly isn't painful, nor is it pleasurable. It's whatever she wants it to be, and if she feels like being gentle, she'll be gentle. But if she wants it to hurt, it'll hurt.
• History: One of the first vampires, and currently the oldest living one, Aphrodisia first became what she is today during her adolescent years in Ancient Greece. To this day, she doesn't know what exactly is responsible for her vampirism, except that it's a naturally occurring condition, not a curse or anything supernatural. She first "contracted" it when she was in her late teens, but didn't realize it until she "died" a few years later. After her family, friends, and neighbors discovered she was undead, she was chased out of her home and began Wandering the Earth for the next couple millenia. At this point, she doesn't really treat anything seriously anymore. She's seen it all. Life has ceased to be anything important or sacred and is just a sort of entertainment. She's equally enthralled with the concept of death but is regrettably... unable to experience it.
• Other: A full-on Walking Techbane, Aphrodisia likes to stick with tradition, giving her an air of sophistication. It takes her a long time to "get with it" so to speak, and she's only recently come around in regards to things like television, microwaves and other modern appliances.

• Name: Saiko Shippai
• Age: 15
• Gender: Female
• Race: Human
• Appearance: Of course I know how to use this!
• Personality: Saiko is a nice girl, if clumsy. As in, "trips over a cordless phone" clumsy. She drops things a lot, and usually follows this by groveling and profusely apologizing to the owner of whatever she dropped. Unless it was her, in which case she'll shrug and decide to pick it up later. She is genuinely nice though, and always willing to lend a hand despite her blundering.
• Abilities: Saiko is somewhat athletic, and although clumsy, she has a little experience with sword-training. Her main ability, however, is her sword:
  • Honor's Blade - Curse of the Nameless Samurai: Artificial C
    • A katana containing the spirit of an old samurai, his name unknown. Wielding the blade changes Saiko considerably: she becomes calm and collected, her clumsiness is replaced by an acute sense of balance, and she gains awe-inspiring skill with the sword, as well as increased agility and strength. However, the blade cannot kill any living creature - Saiko is physically unable to inflict a lethal wound with the sword, and injuries caused by it heal quickly, preventing foes from bleeding to death.
• Brief History: Saiko was mostly a normal girl, until her tenth birthday, when her grandfather randomly decided to teach her kendo. He also gave her a sword as a birthday gift, neglecting to tell her of the soul contained within it. One painful swordfight later, and her grandfather was suddenly much nicer to her. Since then, she's been practicing with her grandfather, waiting for something interesting to happen, because she's bored of beating her grandpa to within an inch of his life.

• Name: Takehaya Suzu or Takehaya Susanoo-no-Mikoto, if you want to be formal
• Age: 8 "Awmost as owd as this countwy!"
• Gender: Female
• Race: Human
• Appearance: "Pwepawe to die!"
• Personality: Suzu is arrogant, perverted, petty and really, really bad when it comes to taking a loss. In fact, it's because she was such a sore loser in a game with her sister that she's in her current situation. Much to her chagrin, she finds herself drawn to sweets and cute things.
• Abilities: She's about as fast, strong and tough as you'd expect from a seven year old girl. Although she has a rather impressive level of tactical knowledge and combat skill (that she is far too weak to use effectively). In addition, she wields the Miraculous Existance, Totsuka-no-Tsurugi:
  • Totsuka-No-Tsurugi (B): The sword used to defeat the legendary beast, Orochi. It is almost as long as Suzu is tall, making it rather difficult for her to wield effectively. That said, when she wields it, Suzu can tap into a small portion of her original power, putting her on par with a fairly athletic adult in terms of speed and strength. In addition, it deals extra damage to youkai and other such Japanese supernatural entities.
• Brief History: A while back, Suzu got into a fight with her sister after she changed the rules of a game halfway through, depriving Suzu of a well earned victory. After breaking some of her sister's toys, Suzu was thrown out of home. After a while, she came across a shiny new toy and returned home, giving it to her sister as a peace offering. And so, after some zany adventures, we reach the current day, where Suzu's mean sister changed the rules of a game again. "I sweaw we wewe pwaying basebaww! Whewe'd that Twistew mat come fwom anyway!?" Unfortunately, despite having made up with her sister last time, Suzu threw another tantrum and was once more thrown out.

I just want to clarify this so no one feels the need to complain about Suzu being, well...you saw the profile, she's not going to have access to anything approaching what her full level of power would normally be in the RP. She's going to remain a powerless loli whose only real defense is that sword that she can't carry around in public due to The Masquerade and the fact that it's so damn big. And unlike the Arthurians, she can't summon it to her location. Even with the sword's strength boost, it's still hard for her to fight because of how unwieldly it is.

Also, I figure this should probably go without saying, but I got GM approval before even considering posting a profile for someone like this. Eh-heh.
