Urban Fantasy RP World Building and Interest Check/Signups

I'm running and planning a lot of RPs, but this idea was just a bit too much to resist. Anyway, time to get down to business.

The setting is the fictional Japanese city of Shukufuku. There's a clear masquerade in place, so revealing yourself is frowned upon and will likely get people after you.

Now, the city itself can more or less be made up as we go along, but there's some setting info that is very important that will be recorded below:

Miraculous Existences.

Angels: Angels are a race of beings tasked with governing the safety of reality. They are winged humanoids with golden halos, and they see to it that reality remains safe and unharmed by outside intruders. They dwell in the realm known as heaven, a seemingly idyllic place composed of gold and white. In spite of what is believed, heaven and the angels have no connection with souls or the afterlife in any way. They are stronger and faster then humans, and extremely difficult to kill. As opposed to magic, Angels possess "holy" abilities. They are capable of hiding their wings and halo, as well. Exceptionally powerful angels, known as Archangels, command angelic legions to do battle with intrusions that are not severe enough for further action. They possess the Throne of God, an immensely powerful Miraculous Existence fueled by humanity's faith. Recently, there has been an angelic exodus due to the actions of the Archangel Gabriel and a rebellious angel.

• Archangels(Colored archangels are claimed, by either plot or players): Gabriel, Michael, Raphael, Uriel, Raguel, Ramiel and Sariel.

Reincarnation: Reincarnation is a the process of remaking an existence naturally as a new being. This process results in a new being with the soul or the original. This process usually affects the human or the human-like. The reincarnated will often remember aspects of their past life, and even develop some of their abilities and characteristics(though not all of them, physically of personality-wise at least). Reincarnation does not effect everyone. Only those with a defined reason to be reborn will be reborn.

Vampires: There are many different kinds of vampires, each with different traits. Whoever, they all hold a few traits in common: Inclinations towards being nocturnal(for various reasons), and the need to drink human blood.

More information on factions and other important things will be added as things develop.

• Name: Amitiel
• Age: Likely very, very old, but has the physical form of child of twelve or so.
• Gender: Female
• Race: Angel
• Appearance: Thanks to troper Grey Star for the picture◊.
• Personality: Amitiel is rather playful. She enjoys meeting new people and going to new places. It just so happens that these new places are sometimes nightclubs and the new people are sometimes drunk. Granted, not always, but Amitiel likes to go to somewhat... seedy locations. She even flirts, though she never meets any level of success on account of her youthful appearance. Even when she insists that she has the body of a twenty-year-old. When she's not being cheerfully playful, Amitiel has an extremely short temper and a penchant to jump to violence to solve her problems. She also likes fire. A lot. Waaaay too much. Fighting and fire are things that Amitiel likes.
• Abilities: Amitiel can cause her wings to appear or vanish at will, along with her halo. She can fly through use of her wings. Amitiel possesses an unlimited number of feather-shaped knives, that she can spawn seemingly from thin air.
  • Miraculous Existence-Heaven's Typewriter: The Thompson's Machine Gun that Amitiel wields is in fact a weak, Artificial Miraculous Existence. It runs off of lethal potential(specifically that of the bullets loaded into it, though it can run off of anything), allowing it to create a miracle. This miracle is converting anything loaded into it into holy energies. These energies are highly dangerous, especially to the supernatural, and even moreso to demonic entities. When in use, golden wings of energy sprout from the right and left side.
• Brief History: Amitiel's life was fairly normal. She was created as angels usually are, and immediately posed some issues as to how bored she was with heaven. This boredom eventually reached critical mass, when she attempted to leave heaven. At the time, the oppressive archangel Gabriel was preventing angels from departing from heaven. He attempted to prevent her escape, and nearly killed her, until she lit him on fire. While Gabriel was not killed, he was forced to flee and regenerate on the Throne of God. Angels were allowed to leave in his absence, Amitiel among them. She has been on earth ever since.

• Name: "The Happy and Carefree Witch who isn't Scared of Anyone!"
• Age: Well, she looks about ten, maybe. Looks aren't everything.
• Gender: Female
• Race: Apparently Human
• Appearance: "Hai!"
• Personality: The Carefree Witch is, as her long title may indicate, very happy and carefree. She flits about from place to place, interested only in interacting with people she thinks would be fun. She often makes remarks based on what she thinks will get a funny reaction, and enjoys flaunting her powers to other magicians. She will not hesitate to use her powers to tease others. However, she does not seek to harm others, and will stay her hand to avoid injuring people. She is capable of becoming very serious, but it takes a lot for her to do so.
• Abilities: The Carefree Witch has a great deal of powers. She can cast illusions, fly, 'shapeshift'(it takes a long time and special ingredients to change her form, and she doesn't like doing it, but she's capable of it), heal herself and others, and has elemental control over electricity. She also has weaker control over air, fire, water, and earth, though she mostly uses her control over electricity.
  • Technique: Railgun: Years of honing her control over electricity have allowed the Carefree Witch some control of electromagnetism. Using this, she can electromagnetically accelerate metal projectiles. Large ones are used in a spell known as "Technique: Railgun", where the Carefree Witch accelerates a projectile at incredible speeds to hit her target.
• Brief History: The Carefree Witch was a powerful magician from history. She still remains powerful, but things have changed since then to modern times. She currently resides in Japan, traveling about to meet others.

• Name: Fujimura Hisako(Real name: Taketori Kaguya-hime)
• Age: About sixteen physically, much, much older than that in actuality
• Gender: Female
• Race: Lunarian/Hourai Immortal
• Appearance: "Why, hello there."
• Personality: Hisako has a brief air of refinement, which quickly shatters when you speak to her further. She is, in reality, rather lazy at times and prone to skittishness. At the same time, she is very sweet-natured and friendly to those who do not cause her to become nervous, and will often talk for hours in hopes that anyone present will be willing to listen. If she believes that her cause is worth it, she will cease to be lazy and will devote most of her energy and enthusiasm towards it. Hisako is afraid of men, and will avoid them when possible.
• Abilities: Hisako is completely and totally immortal. Killing her will simply result in revival only a few moments later. However, she can still feel pain and become tired of repeated deaths. She can also craft various potions, and magical items, having created the Hourai Elixer. While many of the treasures that she has long since retrieved from the five impossible tasks have been hidden away, Hisako retains the Tsubame no Koyasugai Kara.
  • Miraculous Existence-Tsubame no Koyasugai Kara: As a Natural Miraculous Existence, Tsubame no Koyasugai Kara(A cowrie shell hatched from a swallow's egg) can create a miracle itself. However, it may only be used once every five hundred years. Said miracle unlocks a world within Hisako's memory, creating a landscape of the moon. Here, but only here, she may alter reality as she sees fit.
• Brief History: Hisako was born thousands and thousands of years ago, on the moon. Named Kaguya by her royal parents(The Emperor and Empress of the Moon), she lived on the moon for the first six years of her life. However, a magical accident resulted in a sudden appearance on earth. Alone, afraid, and in unfamiliar surroundings, a young Kaguya found herself taken in by a kindly old man and his wife. As she grew, she took their family name, Taketori. However, soon after entering her teens, word of her untold beauty spread across Japan. She soon became known as a princess of beauty, a title she naturally took to due to her royal nature. However, the praise took a turn for the worst when suitors approached her in an attempt to marry her. Kaguya, reluctant and frightened of marriage, devised the five impossible tasks(collecting the stone begging bowl of India's Buddha, the Jeweled Branch from the Island of Hourai, the robe of the fire rat from China, a colored gem from the neck of a dragon, and a Cowrie Shell hatched from the egg of a swallow) in order to dissuade them. Kaguya reasoned that no one would attempt such things. However, the suitors did, leading to injury and death. Regretful of the death of one of her suitors, Kaguya vowed that she would one day collect the items herself in order to prevent any deaths that could result from futilely searching for them.
  
  She did not, however, expect that the Emperor of Japan would attempt to woo her. Still frightened of both men, and marriage, she managed to dissuade him by claiming that her unearthly roots prevented her from marrying. Not long afterwords, the Lunarians finally discovered where she was, and attempted to retrieve her so that she could take her place as the Moon Princess. Kaguya, realizing that they would surely remove her memories and compassion for the people of earth, drank the Hourai Elixer of immortality and faked her death by cutting her own throat. The emissaries from the moon found her, and left in mourning, leaving the task of burying her to her adoptive parents. Soon after, Kaguya revived and revealed that she was alive. The Hourai elixer freezing her age at sixteen and giving her complete immortality, she has lived for thousands of years and changed her name many times to avoid suspicion. During this time, she collected the items that the five impossible requests had requested and hid them away in her own home. She still retains the Cowrie Shell. Kaguya currently lives under the identity of Fujimura Hisako.

• Name: Lewis Gardener
• Age: 20
• Gender: Male
• Race: Human, obviously.
• Appearance: Lewis is a rather bedraggled-looking young man of middling height with thing, gangly limbs and a slumping posture not unlike that of a poorly-controlled marionette.His hair is a matted brown tangle that sits atop his head, more like a bird's nest than anything you might find on a human being. His skin is a deathly pale, a condition which no amount of tanning as been able to mitigate. His eyes are greenish blue and usually cast downward at the ground below. He dresses simply, a pair of baggy jeans and a plain black t-shirt are all he needs on most days.
• Personality: Lewis isn't a particularly intelligent man, but who knows enough to say that, were he to choose between a glass half-empty and a glass half-full, he would simply drink the water and be done with it. He prefers to live in the moment and take what's given to him, rather than hoping and philosophizing and all that nonsense. You have to reach out and take something, otherwise it's not going to be there much longer. That's not to say he's particularly motivated to actually do anything, of course. If you have to work hard for something, it's not worth having in the first place.
• Abilities: Lewis is, all in all, your average twenty year-old human male, though he's not exactly the most athletic of guys.
• Brief History: Lewis has, up 'till now, lead a rather average life. He grew up in some boxy Midwestern state that he left in the dust a long time ago in favor of a slightly less boxy, even more forgettable state. He's cruised through life only slightly aware of his surroundings, graduated highschool with average grades, everything you'd expect out of someone like him. Which is to say, nothing of particular importance. He landed a dead-end job behind a desk in a bleak, gray office building doing data entry for a company whose intended purpose to this day remains a mystery to him. Not to long ago, he one himself a paid vacation in a contest sponsored by some soft drink company whose product left a greasy film on the roof of his mouth to the city of Shukufuku, Japan. And that about brings us up to current events.

• Name: Yuki Naoe "Lady of the Lake"
• Age: 16
• Gender: Male
• Race: Human
• Appearance: The pink haired one~◊
• Personality: Yuki is a very clumsy boy, easily spaced out and has the attention span of a 4 year old. He has an overactive imagination and often comes up with silly ideas, much to the amusement of his younger sister. He's also very effeminate in appearance and personality, making him easily mistaken for a girl. He loves cute things and food, especially if it's sweets, and can spend the entire day eating nothing but cake if he was allowed to.
• Brief History: Yuki Naoe came from a rather odd family background. For some reason, his Mother's side of the family were not allowed to have sons of any sort. Because of this the boy had always been raised as a girl. Of course, between their parent's death and Natsu's tomboyish ways of acting and dressing, this taboo in their family almost seemed to become a moot point.
  
  When Yuki was twelve years old, he was approached by several ghostly spirits. These were the old ladies of the lake. They had chosen Yuki as their successor despite him being actually a boy. He was raised as a girl and that's what counted to them. It was an unlucky occurrence that his sister seemed to have stumbled upon ceremony of succession. Though, the spirits decided this was a good thing, it seemed that his sister was a good candidate to be the Keeper of Excalibur and her brother's knight whom would protect the boy from any and all danger.
• Abilities: Advanced Healing, can heal most lethal wounds, the ability to enchant weapons and people to make them stronger, etc etc, and the ability to allow passage to Avalon.
  • Avalon: An extradimensional island that only those the Lady of the Lake allows can leave or enter. No one can die on this island, anyone near death who enters this plane of existence instantly gets revived. In fact, all wounds that anyone has gets healed upon setting foot on this island. It is a world in which concepts like time does not exist. It is a perpetually unchanging place and anyone who decides to live there could live a sort of immortal life. However, the moment they step out of this place, their wounds that had been healed return and time catches up to them, killing them indefinitely if they stayed in that plane longer than the human life span.

• Name: Natsu Naoe
• Age: 15
• Gender: Female
• Race: Human
• Appearance: The blue haired one~◊
• Personality: Natsu has a very upbeat and cheerful personality, much like her brother, except she has more of a trickster streak in her. She can be sarcastic at times, especially if she thinks it would mess with the person she's being sarcastic to. She's very active and playful, and doesn't seem to take her duties seriously. However, when the situation calls for it, she will get serious, especially if she thinks her brother may get in harms way. Because of her very tomboyish personality and ambiguous looks, she's often mistaken for a boy.
• Brief History: Yuki's younger sister. She grew up knowing her brother was a boy, yet having to treat him as a girl. This was something the girl accepted as fact and never questioned. Though, after their parent's death, she wondered why Yuki continued to act as a girl. It was at that moment that she decided to dress and act more tomboyish. If her brother wasn't going to act as a boy, then she was going to for him. Also, there was the added bonus of messing with people, what with the one that looked like a girl actually being a boy and the one most like a boy was actually a girl.
  
  Like stated before, Natsu would stumble upon her brother's ceremony of succession. The spirits, who for whatever reason, didn't account for the sister, decided she would be a good candidate for Yuki's knight and Keeper of Excalibur. Thus her training as a knight began, training she eagerly took part in... when she wasn't goofing off.
• Abilities: Trained in swordsmanship, also the Keeper of Excalibur. Cannot use the full power of the sword, and will pass it on to it's true owner when he or she is found.
  
  She has a sword and knights armour that has been permanently enchanted, giving her abnormal boosts in speed and strength as well as protection from most non-magical weapons. These can be summoned at will, along with Excalibur, though the ability to summon Excalibur leaves her once she passes the weapon to "Arthur Pendragon".

• Name:Cyndy Ryuhime
• Age: 16
• Gender: Female
• Race: half-Dragon
• Appearance:
  • Cyndy has bright yellow eyes, hidden behind blue contacts, and bright, flame-like hair that reaches her lower back, and usually adorned with a black cap. She tends to wear primarily red and yellow, incredibly bulky clothing. She's rather diminutive for her age.
    Between her shoulder blades, scarlet scales have formed, soon to grow over her shoulders and back. As a dragon-born, she will eventually 'grow' into a proper dragon-human hybrid, and this is essentially the beginning. She has yet to develop wings or a tail, thankfully enough for her.
• Personality:
  • Despite obviously hiding her body away under all that clothing, Cyndy is surprisingly confident and even boastful at times. She's also a little bit dense, but she at least has the sense to make sure no one knows what she is - especially since she doesn't fully understand it herself. Only that, for her, it's natural.
    If Cyndy happens to suspect anyone is suspicious of her true nature, though, she ends up becoming a bit of a paranoid wreck, unable to figure out a course of action and probably make things worse for herself. Also hates cats, for some reason.
• Brief History:
  • Cyndy isn't exactly too sure of her heritage. Only that she's part dragon. She'd rather not learn, fearing the implications, to be honest. While she grew up in a humble orphanage, the only unusual feature she had were the yellow eyes. Of course, she was picked on for it, hence the coloured contacts. She lived what could be considered a normal, if a teensy bit lonely, life, and it's only after she moved into a small apartment for herself that her 'affliction' became apparent.
• Abilities:
  • Is highly resistant to heat. Seeing as her body is still mostly human, though, most temperature's are still dangerous.
  • Her strength is also slightly higher than someone her size and age should be, but it's almost negligible, really. Mostly due to her lack of any body-building than 'human weakness', though.

• Name: Shujiko Ishi
• Age: 16
• Gender: Female
• Race: Human
• Appearance:
  • Shujiko has shoulder length, blonde hair with dark brown streaks, with hazel eyes. She wears a simple, button-down green shirt with a blue skirt that reaches just above her knees. Additionally, she wears plain white shorts underneath the skirt, with thigh-high black socks and shoes. Finally, she wears a totally normal magatama wrapped around her left wrist most of the time.
• Personality:
  • Cheerful and brimming with determination and confidence, Shujiko is hard to put down. Always willing to push her limits, she tends to turn things into a contest between her and others.
    ...She's also completely in denial about falling for that one pretty girl, and totally proves it by being colder than usual. She's clearly not tsundere, because she clearly has no romantic feelings for a girl when it's obviously boys she likes.
• Brief History:
  • Nothing too insane or zany has really happened in Shujiko's life. The most notable event being the two-year-long denial she's been in concerning her feelings over that girl.
• Abilities:
  • Almost impossible to dissuade her from a task she sets out to complete, and failure only motivates her further.
  • Fairly athletic. Nothing too special, but she's better than the average person, at least.

• Name: Sariel. Also labelled Lucifer.
• Age: Ancient
• Gender: Female
• Race: Angel of Healing and Death. Additionally a Seraphim and one of the Archangels. She's weirdly... nice, so despite having vast, vast power is almost harmless.
• Appearance: Rear view! Here we are.
• Personality: Believes that Rousseau Was Right, to the extent that she'll give everyone another chance. Even those that have banished her from her birthplace by force of arms and turning both her closest friends and long-term partner against her. This did teach her the value of using nonlethal force occasionally, though, so it's advised that you don't do anything to hurt children in her presence.
• Abilities: The ability to heal any injury, the ability to wish things dead, and enough raw power to sink a continent. Given that the use of such power would be prone to backlash and unintended side effects unless properly restrained, the most she uses it for is to block things that would otherwise harm her.
• Brief History: It is a mystery~

• Name: Mizuno Sakura, Dragonslayer.
• Age: 143, appears in her early twenties.
• Gender: Female
• Race: Human
• Appearance: When she's asleep, her limbs appear curiously... doll-like.
• Personality: The Unfunny. Sakura has seemingly no sense of humour and will approach anything with the utmost seriousness, regardless of its seemingly outlandish premise. This also makes her incredibly easy to deceive, since she rarely thinks to check for falsehood. About the only point of levity about her is that she's a hopeless romantic, even if all her attempts come to naught.
• Abilities: Aside from a somewhat patchy highschool education and being one of the best, if not the best, knife-fighters on the planet, Sakura's abilities are tied to two Miraculous Existences.
  1. Eternal Stasis Drive: Artificial D
     • A replacement for Sakura's heart, it halts the ageing process entirely unless removed (at which point she has bigger things to worry about, like having no heart) and ensures that her physical appearance always returns to the same point as when it was installed, given enough time. Pity she found it after losing her natural limbs. It actually makes for a handy sunblock.
       It runs off of the same energy as the rest of the human body, forcing Sakura to eat a hell of a lot.
  2. Dragonbone Limbs: Artificial C
     • Crafted, as the name suggests, of the bones of a dragon, these (technically it's four Miraculous Existences, but they function as one) have one main function: allowing her to operate normally despite having had her natural limbs variously burnt off, chewed off, or otherwise rendered useless and gone. They can also give her the physical capabilities of a dragon, though that takes more power than otherwise. Its power source? Determination. Sakura gets faster and stronger the more determined she is to achieve something... and since she really, really doesn't want to lie limply on the floor, she always has enough to function normally.
       Due to their being bonded with her, Sakura can actually remove them so that sleeping doesn't involve lots of lying on bone limbs (just because they look and feel normal in action doesn't mean they're like that when there's no power) and force them to reattach. Naturally, she's incredibly vulnerable when sleeping, because that takes time.
• Brief History: Born to a large extended family dedicated to the extermination of harmful monsters, Sakura always had an interest in the dragons of legend: the serpents, the Yamata no Orochi, the flaming flying lizards of western lore. This interest grew into a maniacal focus on exterminating just this one type of creature, whilst her cousin (a surgeon and mage) tacked along for raw materials. Things went well for months, until one dragon, in its death throes, managed to take off an arm. Well, there were materials, so her cousin made a replacement.
  Then another dragon took a leg.
  The other arm? Crushed by a collapsing ceiling.
  Her last natural limb? Immolated and amputated for her own safety. Good thing that her cousin was around... and it proved even better after killing the last dragon, one with a vast hoard. After all, a booby-trap stabbed her through the chest (and the scarring from that is still quite plainly there) and, if it hadn't been for the cousin's quick thinking, she would've died then and there. Instead, she outlived most of her family (and lost all close contact with the rest) and has gradually moved onto general monster hunting rather than focusing exclusively on dragons.
  She's back in school, for the moment, and staying with family members that recognise her name more as a warning than as an actual person. Can't kill all the monsters, what would she do then?

...And so, here we go, the two characters I keep trying to use and yet keep screwing up with. >.< Hopefully this time they'll work out. Hopefully.

• Name: Penelope "Penny" Drake
• Age: 16
• Gender: Female
• Race: Human
• Appearance: Rather average looking, with shoulder length, straight brown hair and brown eyes. She's maybe a little taller than average, but thin, and not possessing much of a figure. She wears a large pair of glasses, and is most often dressed in her school uniform, a brown sweater and skirt.
• Personality: A wide-eyed idealist and all around idiot hero. Possesses a strong sense of justice and can't bare to see people being oppressed for any reason. She's rather single-minded about it, though, and won't even think twice about the consequences of what she does, blindly rushing head-on into danger if she thinks it's for a good cause. Something of a nerd; she's an especially large fan of comics and manga. She's generally cheerful, and loves chatting with anyone she comes across about completely inconsequential things such as the weather, how pretty the flowers look, what she had for lunch, etc., to the point that she can come off as somewhat annoying to others at times. However, a lot of this is simply a mask for how she truly is. Penny actually possesses something of an inferiority complex, and sometimes strives too hard to live up to the legacy of her previous incarnation of Arthur Pendragon.
• Abilities: Weilds the Miraculous Existence Caliburn◊, the Sword in the Stone, a magic sword with the words "Whosoever pulleth out this sword of this stone is rightwise king born of England" engraved on the hilt. It is indestructable as long as her faith and honour remains intact, and can cut through almost anything. Whilst she holds it in her hands, Penny is imbued with the sword's power and gains a slight boost to her strength, speed, agility and resilience, taking her to the upper reaches of human ability in all these areas. She also becomes an almost unmatched swordswoman, although this only applies if she's actually using Caliburn (she seems to fumble a lot with any other sword). Caliburn is bound to Penny, and she can summon and dismiss it at any time.
  
  Whilst she's not exactly smart, or atheletic, or popular... Um... At least she has spirit? Penny actually has surprisingly good coordination even if her other physical attributes are unimpressive before she draws Caliburn. She can be rather creative at times, being a somewhat talented artist, as well as having a knack for sewing which she uses to make stuffed toys (mostly for herself, but recently they've been going to Kasumi). She's bilingual, and can speak fluently in both English and Japanese.
• Brief History: Originally hailing from England, Penny's family moved to Shukufuku whilst she was young after her parents were offered a job transfer there. Most of her history is actually rather boring and inconsequential, as she used to simply just an average, everyday, ordinary schoolgirl, but recently she's been having some strange dreams of a past life... After one particularly vivid dream involving her pulling a shining sword from a stone, she awoke to find the very same sword next to her. Although she's not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed, even she recognised the inscription on her sword, and realised who she was in her past life: Arthur Pendragon, the Once and Future King. However... She's not exactly well versed in the legends, and doesn't really know about much aside from the swords and the round table. She's not entirely sure why Kasumi keeps following her, but she doesn't particularly mind, as she rather likes the younger girl.

• Name: Kasumi Dulac
• Age: 10
• Gender: Female
• Race: Human
• Appearance: Lazy, but...◊ >.>
• Personality: Despite her young age, she tries to act mature and serious as much as possible. However, she's still a child, and so breaking this image isn't too difficult, especially if certain details of her past life are brought up. Like Penny, she is single-minded about spreading the cause of justice and standing against evil; however she does this as a form of atonement for the mistakes of her past life, and will sometimes exert herself far too much because of this. Whilst trying to keep a cool, composed air around her, she completely drops this when she enters a fight, turning into a berserk, almost bloodthirsty maniac, and seems to enjoy herself far too much. However, once she comes back to her senses she will be rather ashamed of how she acted, and often drops into a deep melancholy as an aftermath of her berserker rage. Due to past experiences, Kasumi is scared of water, and cannot swim.
• Abilities: Possesses the Miraculous Existence Arondight◊. Just like Penny and Caliburn, her physical capabilities increase whilst she is using her sword. It is unbreakable, and deals additional damage to dragons and related creatures. Whilst she is proficient in just about any weapon, it is with swords that she excels most, her skill with Arondight possibly even surpassing Penny's skill with Caliburn. Arondight is bound to Kasumi, and she can summon and dismiss it at any time.
  
  Her skill with all weapons is almost supernaturally high, and she can turn just about anything she gets in her hands into a lethal weapon. Kasumi is smarter than her age would suggest, can speak and read fluently in Japanese, English and French, and is exceptionally literate; she's Penny's main source of information about the Arthurian legends, even if she does omit some of the details she'd rather not let her in on. She's surprisingly proficient at costume design and manufacture, and in fact made her outfit herself.
• Brief History: Originally from France, Misty's family moved to Shukufuku when she was six years old. She was a typical, cheerful young girl until her eighth birthday, when, after a freak accident caused her to almost drown in a nearby lake, she was beset by various incredibly vivid visions and dreams of a past life. As it turns out, she was once Sir Lancelot of the Lake, one of the legendary Knights of the Round Table serving under King Arthur, whose affair with Queen Guinevere tore apart the knights and paved the way for the fall of Camelot. The visions and recollections, having been thrust upon her all at once rather than gradually due to her near-death experience, had a notable impact on her, scarring her and leading her to believe that the sole purpose of her new life was to atone for the mistakes she made in her previous one. As such, as soon as she realised that Penny was the reborn King Arthur, she began going out of her way to stay near the other girl. Thankfully, Penny's trusting nature has led to the two developing a weird friendship of sorts.

• Name: Jennifer White, generally called Jenny, not least because it's easier from most of the people she talks to to pronounce.

• Appearance: "I just got home from school..."
• Personality: Jennifer is... well, she's quiet, that's immediately obvious, and, once you get past her odd hair colour and considerable vertical height, tends to blend into the background a lot. She's not actually shy, though, but rather... absorbed. At home, she tends to spend most of her time reading interesting stories and wondering what would have happened if this had happened, or this had happened, especially for mythology. If engaged in conversation, however, she's the perfect lady; polite, charming, and not stupid.
  A lot of boys ask her out for some reason, she's never been quite sure why that is. Some girls, too, which was even stranger...
• Abilities: She's... weirdly, weirdly attractive, for all that she's obviously not Japanese, which is part of things. The other is that she has inherited the ability to enchant items. Mostly, this means making them more resilient to material things (her school uniform, which she's been working on since she realised this was possible, is effectively bulletproof and permanently clean) and adding other, helpful, properties, as well as repairing them. Why can she do this? She is the reincarnation of Guinevere, whose very name can mean 'White Enchantress'.
  She can also speak three languages: English, which is useful; Japanese, which is extremely useful; and Welsh, which is slightly less useful than the ability to swim when you never have reason to go near water and is therefore rusty and never used. She's still got the accent, though...
• Brief History: Born. Parents decided Japan was preferable to Wales for some reason around her thirteenth birthday, finally revealing to her that that was why she'd been taught the language. Moved. And then... she discovered who she once was in a dream. Aside from vowing to not cheat (no, this time around she'll ask if they're willing to share!) and writing fanfiction of her own lifetime, she hasn't given it much thought.

• Name: "Maggot". Most likely not her true name, but it's the only one she ever gives.
• Age: Unknown. Looks about 14.
• Gender: Female
• Race: Demon
• Appearance: ...I know it's not original, but...◊ >.<
• Personality: First and foremost, Maggot is a compulsive liar, and something of a troll, taking great joy in the frustration of others. She's usually rather calm and collected, and rarely shows any emotion other than mild indifference, or the occasional smirk. Maggot just wants to have fun, although this is often at someone else's expense. Her biggest weakness is that she is a massive glutton, and can never say no to good food.
• Abilities: Control over insects, bugs, arachnids and other creepy-crawlies. She can also fly, and is possessed of immense physical strength, enough to lift a fully loaded van above her head with little visible strain. Maggot also possesses at least some knowledge of magic, although she doesn't use it all that much as it's more fun to try and operate without it. She occasionally gives off the impression that she knows a lot more than she's letting off...
• Brief History: Not much is really known about her. When asked about her history, she'll just shrug and say "It's not important". All that's really known is that she's a demon from Hell itself. It's not entirely unknown for demons to head to Earth to screw around with people (it kind of goes with being an entire society of mischeivous trolls, really), but she seems like she has at least some purpose being her. Then again, knowing her any indication of such a purpose is probably just some elaborate jokes.

• Name: Akira Mori (Or as he likes to name himself throughout his incarnations, Mortimer De Ath)
• Age: 16
• Gender: Male
• Race: Reincarnated human.
• Appearance: A trait that all of Akira's lives had is albinism, having short white hair, and reddish eyes with a pale complexion to go with it. He is of average height, with a skinny build to go with it. He wears a bulky black hooded windbreaker and a pair of black jeans whenever he's out of his school uniform. He also has a pair of shades to block sunlight, and a dark blue wool hat to hide his hair.
• Personality: He has a cheerful, carefree view of things. He's also rather flirtatious, although it's mostly just to tease others. He's also very calm, not showing any outburst of emotions generally. He generally dislike the mindset of a thrown life, having the firm belief that people should if possible, live to their fullest. He's also mildly annoyed at his condition, since it causes no end of trouble from discrimination.
• Abilities: Physically, he's only above average in terms of human ability. He's able to understand any language, and can sense life close to him. Due to being the Horseman of Death, he does however, have items that can give him a advantage against most.
  • Death's scythe: The reaper's symbol, that will take the lives of all things, living or non-living, immortal or not. However, because it's not the End of the World yet, most of its power is sealed. Akira can summon this weapon at any time, and can control it remotely as well. It's able to change forms, although he generally uses it as a type of polearm. It can also split apart, up to four including the one he'll wield. Although it can't actually kill anything permanently like it was meant for, it's still able to pierce through any protection, meaning it would still affect anyone like a normal scythe to the sides of a human would.
  • Pale Horse: His ride of choice. Its form turned from a normal horse, to now where it is able to transform into any ground vehicle Akira so chooses. Like the scythe, Akira can call it to his side. He usually rides it as a bike, as otherwise, he'd have to "feed" it fuel. It also has a mind of its own, but only he can actually hear what it says.
• Brief History: The harbinger of the End, the one who will call forth the souls of the dead to follow in his steps. Since the Apocalypse isn't exactly around the corner, the Pale Rider is constantly living a human life, waiting for that fated day. Until then, he'll go on happily wondering what humanity will have in store next.

Alright, here we are. This has only been partially approved, so there may be changes:

• Name: Fujimoto Ryu
• Age: 17
• Gender: Male
• Race: Human
• Appearance: Fox Mulder: The Early Years
• Personality: Simply put, he thinks he's the main character. He's not. Not even close. A dedicated Agent Mulder who believes the human race is always being threatened by something. If it's not the MIB, it's the Freemasons. If it's not the Freemasons, it's demonic invasion. It's like he's playing a game of supernatural ad libs in his head, one that only seems to make sense to him. No theory is too crazy, no explanation too out there. Unwaveringly idealistic, to the point where he likes to refer to himself as a "hero for truth". A ham of absolutely massive proportions.
• Abilities: Is actually quite smart, with a great deal of deductive skill, something obscured by his terminal case of the crazies. Athletic, too, but he doesn't play sports. 
• History: A normal high-schooler, with an unfulfilled interest in conspiracy and the supernatural. Unfulfilled that is until an angel decided for both of them that she'd be crashing at his place. Since meeting Kokabiel, Ryu has bonded with the angel, and the two have formed a sort of vigilante Occult Detective business, with Ryu acting as the brains and Kokabiel as the brawn. 

• Name: Kokabiel (a.k.a Yamamoto Yuuka)
• Age: Twenty-five.
• Gender: Female
• Race: Angel
• Appearance: "Kill 'em all and let God sort out the rest, that's what I say."
• Personality: A free spirit. Kokabiel hates being restricted or responsible, and would rather just do things her way. Her way usually involves stuff blowing up. She's bashful, playful, and kind of a goof-off, known for going AWOL on her subordinates frequently, and often without explanation. Enjoys human contact social, emotional, and physical, and is rather fond of them and their lifestyle, believing most angels give them far too little credit.
• Abilities: The Star of God and one of the most powerful Angels in Heaven. Kokabiel has dominion over the stars and their positions in the sky. She draws her power from celestial light, and fights with Hard Light weaponry and explosions. She can cause destruction simply by focusing on something hard enough, and for more precise maneuvers, she can manifest weapons of light which can rip, tear, and cut on a molecular level. Her power grows in starlight, but can be used under the sun, just to less of a degree. Like most angels, she can toggle her wings and halo on and off. She was also the one who taught man astrology.
  • The Celestial Map (C)
    An Artificial Miraculous Existence which takes the form of a papyrus scroll inscribed with a map of the heavens. Kokabiel uses it to fulfill her duties as the Star of God, setting the stars into motion and determining their positions in the heavens. It runs on starlight and has no practical use in combat, but is impressive nonetheless.
• History: One of the various angelic commanders (beneath the archangels; think commanding officer versus general), Kokabiel has always been irresponsible and a bit of a wild card, so when the gates opened up to Earth, she was one of the first out, eager to get her hands on some good ol' fashioned field work. Looking for a place to stay, she came across Ryu and decided it'd be fun to hang around and play detective with the kid. They now run their own vigilante buddy-cop dealie for supernatural crimes and threats. To be entirely honest, most of Heaven's more "proper" angels are glad she's out of their hair, believing her attitude and intimacy with the humans to be unbecoming of someone of her position. Every angel except her troops, who she left without command or a suitable replacement. She does that.
• Misc: Prefers to be called "Koka", as she feels the last two syllables of her name make her sound too masculine.

• Name: Kelpie.
• Age: It's a mystery. Looks like sixteen.
• Gender: Female
• Race: Demon
• Appearance: Welcome. Ach, hopefully this is alright.
• Personality: Kelpie is an easy going and open minded person that goes about her business with a sort of detached air that implies her aloofness from the more regulated social norms. She especially enjoys new experiences and is fond of liberal views. She's also a bit of daydreamer and sometimes spouts the weirdest phrases out there.
• Abilities: Kelpie is a very good swimmer, able to reach speeds as fast a torpedo. She's also able to manipulate sources of water in order to make "Aqua Roads" for faster transportation or just as attacks, as well as manipulate it in its gaseous and solid forms. She's quite frail for a demon though, only being slightly more endurable than a regular human body, though she possesses much faster reaction times and she can hit a bit harder than most non super humans unaided.
  • Miraculous Existence Zi (C+): A flower-looking charm made of a certain bird's feathers that spouts giant wings of pure white plumage. This allows Kelpie to be able to fly, and is in actuality the much better version of the Wings of Icarus are based on. It's also powerful enough to create strong wind currents. One can also use it to buffet things too by whacking them with it or as impromptu shields seeing as they don't transmit pain to its user. Lasts for only thirty seconds per each usage and the reload time is an hour in between uses.
  • Miraculous Existence Hom (C+): A red string made from the intestine of a certain legendary beast. When activated, it imbues Lea with monstrous strength for thirty seconds, enough to throw about tanks and other armored vehicles with ease. It can also be used as a lasso in order to entangle and ensnare opponents. Many mistake it for a different Miraculous Existence, the Red String of Fate. Like Zi, it has a reload time of an hour.
  • (Note: The Miraculous Existences are also a seal for Kelpie's true powers, and thus has to be destroyed in order for the girl to unlock said powers. Naturally, she attempts to keep the items from harm, and even without that they're pretty hard to destroy.)
• Brief History: Like Maggot, Kelpie is a tourist from Hell. Feeling that the realm down under was outright boring and stagnant at the moment, she decided to emigrate to the mortal realm of Earth where change is always happening. Naturally, this appeals to her philosophy, and now she just wants to have a grand vacation filled with fun times. She also seems deadset on obtaining souvenirs from the trip, and thus roams the place looking for curious objects to take from Earth.

• Name: Saru Daio He's actually a reincarnated Sun Wukong
• Age: 28
• Gender: Male
• Race: Human
• Appearance: Perhaps you were expecting a monkey?◊
• Personality: Very carefree and something of a trickster, and always willing to cause some mischief. Saru is strangely adverse to gods and divine beings, preferring the company of mortal beings and demons, especially the prankster kind of demon. He's also something of a braggart, loudly announcing whenever he has tricked someone, and he likes telling people that he's stronger than them regardless of whether or not this is actually true.
• Abilities: He has strength and speed above ordinary humans, limited shapeshifting (via the "72 Transformations", though he hasn't fully mastered them) and the ability to turn his hairs into clones of himself (though just as strong as he is, they disappear with one blow). He can also summon a cloud from the skies to ride upon for additional speed, though he has difficulty controlling this.
  • Ruyi Jingu Bang: Artificial B
    • Crafted by Yu the Great to measure the depth of the seas, this staff has the ability to change its size and length, as well as bend at Saru's will, and replicate itself. It also is incredibly heavy (13,500 jin, or 6750 kg/14850 lbs).
• Brief History: Sun Wukong was a monkey born from a magic stone. Desiring immortality, he set out and trained with a monk in the magical arts before taking his staff, Ruyi Jingu Bang, from the ocean. He made alliances with demons, and eventually got into an argument with several divine beings, attacking and defeating them. He was captured, but only the Buddha was able to seal him. He was later released (with a headband that would crush his head if he acted evil) to guard a monk in his Journey to the West, being granted buddhahood upon completing this mission. Many generations later, a teenager in Japan, down on his luck, stumbled upon an old staff in an antique shop, and tied to it was a scroll. As a note in the scroll told him, a recent scuttle with the Buddha had led to Sun being forcibly reincarnated... as Saru. In homage to the past life he could no longer remember, he has spent over ten years learning (and indeed, is still learning) the techniques Sun had hastily scribbled down for his next life, in order to annoy as many people as possible.

@Runekn: A Rider of the Apocalypse? Um... sorry, no.

@KSPAM: Your first character is perfectly fine. Your second... Firstly, you didn't discuss the properties of her hard light with me. Seeing them now, I would've liked to discuss that with you. Secondly, why is the Angel of Stars second only to Archangels in power? Thirdly, Angels in this, as noted in the first post, are protectors of reality. They are tied to gods, and their holy abilities run of of faith. That said, while some do hold stereotypical angel ideals, many of them do not. She'd have to do a lot worse then be intimate with a human to get thrown out of heaven(at the moment that would probably be making Gabriel think she was a threat to his rule). Also, and army? Wasn't discussed at all.

@GS: Accepted.

@Kage: Can you change them to a descendant or reincarnation? The original Sun Wukong was intended to be a Miraculous Existence. Also, Heaven really doesn't work that way in this universe.

Sorry, some of that was just in the mythos. Can and will fix if the word is given.

EDIT: Also, the army is a non-factor. She's AWOL, remember? They have no clue where she is or what she's doing.
