Looks interesting. Really like the character design. Let's hope they don't fuck it up.
Wha...? The idea of Arc Systems Works making a bad game is just so... Alien to me.
When I heard about this I was hoping it would be a Blaz Blue action game but oh well. Let's see what this ends up being.
It's by Arcsys and has pretty character designs, so I'm already sold.
Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks.Kinda amused that video was pretty much all artwork and music, but this is the first showing, so I'm not really worried.
The art looks nice.
Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.My way of thinking about new games is that they can always suck. Years and years of hopeful gaming have taught me that lesson.
Yeah, it's not good to put developers on such a pedestal like that. It's unlikely, but still possible, that they could mess up somewhere. No one is infallible.
It looks interesting, but my impatience towards GG3 and BB3 will probably prevent me from fully appreciating it.
I guess Mori Toshimichi can't hold up with his year wish of "I'd like to create BB3"
I'd buy anything made by Arc System Works, but it'd need more then that to convince me....
Looks interesting.
Also, who's to say that they can't work on this and Blazblue 3?
Seems like it will be a Visual Novel, if the fact that it's called an Adventure game can be said (Which is an alternate name for Visual Novel in japan).
Watch SymphogearLooks like a visual novel...honestly the character designs don't impress me much as they seem highly unoriginal(some look like they were straight jacked from Persona, unless that's the point?), and the second blonde girl is just flat out ugly.
Seems like it takes place in the Academy or something.
They ARE making Persona 4 Arena, after all...
Watch SymphogearRumors has it that Mori also said 'second installment is also already in the works'. What do you think, next BB or XBlaze: Continuum Shift?
He obviously means Blaz Blue Continuum Shift Extend II Extend.
Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks."Second Installment" can't be a next BB, that would the third, neither another expansion as CS already has two of them.
Dunno, it could be mean XBlaze itself, or even an unexpected Battle Fantasia.

Well technically, even if the story expanded in CS, it's still under the banner of Blaz Blue 1. It can still be a BB 2, since in Guilty Gear, Overture carries the 'GG 2' name, whereas Accent Core +, despite continuing the story, is still considered an 'expansion' of GGXX.
But if Goukenimaru's words are true, then they're just making an assumption of my friend to be totally true... that ASW takes a frickin' decade to even continue a story. And in the most unfortunate time, even... *sigh* Damn it, ASW.
ASW didn't really have control over GG for a long time, most of the Mission Pack Sequels were made by Sammy and SEGA including Overture, even if it had Ishiwatari's input.
Also we can't really assume BB still is in phase 1, just because GG suddenly had a GG2 a decade later its first installment.
Different creators, different pacing and numbering.

I thought the entirety of CS was the second instalment, considering CT came before it?
CS has a completely new story, don't it? Completely repackaged, with all the new balancing tweaks aimed at it... If that's not a "Second installment" I don't know what is. And Overture isn't something most guilty gear fans like to talk about.
-sigh-
There goes my hope for a continuation of BB and a closure on that. I guess that'd wait for a year before it's even announced. All while I'm left in the dark.
Damn it ASW, why do you have to look like confirming the rumors of "We take decades to even advance our existing stories"!?

ASW didn't take a decade to continue GG.
Sammy and SEGA did, and it was bad.
It's still a decade between GGXX to GGXX Accent Core +, where the story continues. Then it's going to take two decades (one decade spent for BB) to even continue after AC+... if the rumors are true.
To be honest, I don't understand how a single company can be working on so many projects at once.
That's where my concern lies as well.
Arc System is promoting their new "Adventure Project". Not much info has been revealed beyond that, not even what system it'll be on. First visual impressions: Blaz Blue meets Persona.
