Depends on how many posts you have, Swish. I have, like, ten. So I'll probably do it.
Fuck the Catalyst.
It was a difficult delivery, now it's growing up mean and strong.Okay people, we've hit the quota on circlejerkery. Let's dial back the hate a bit before this gets locked.
#IceBearForPresidentTIM's research probably went into the Crucible. Plus the Catalyst was already "altered" with the possibility of the other "solutions" when the Crucible docked.
Fuck the Catalyst

Instead, I have learned a horrible truth of existence...some stories have no meaning. All in all, I find Destroy (extended) to be the closest to my ideals choice.
"Urge to thump... rising." -FighteerWhat the extended ending was missing was a clip of Grunt astride his mighty kakliosaur mount. I feel like I found that fossil, possibly one of a kind, for nothing. Did that salarian just chuck it?
"For all those whose cares have been our concern, the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die."I still prefer declaring Bio Ware to be wrong, and indoctrination to be what really happened.
Fuck the Catalyst.
X-Men X-Pert, my blog where I talk about X-Men comics.Again, genocide. I really don't see how anything that includes genocide can be anywhere near ideal... Then again, just letting everyone die in the refuse ending is nice because you get to see the catalyst (Fuck him) storm off in a huff like a child that was just denied a second ice cream cone.
fuck the Catalyst
fuck the Catalyst
fuck the Catalyst
fuck the Catalyst

Instead, I have learned a horrible truth of existence...some stories have no meaning.Yeah, but the results of the other two choices just seem... off.
"Urge to thump... rising." -FighteerI ain't denying mass cyborgization or peace through god-empress ain't weird. But look at it this way.
On one hand, you have an unsettling feeling shared among the populace.
On the other hand, you have GENOCIDE.
One of these is less horrifying then the other.

Genocide of a race of talking toasters is preferable to being oppresed by a God Emperor or having everyone gene-raped.

Instead, I have learned a horrible truth of existence...some stories have no meaning. So genocide, then?
Also, toasters?

It was a difficult delivery, now it's growing up mean and strong. When the robot revolution comes, I'll ask them politely to murder you people first.
I'm just saying: brainwashing of the entire galaxy.
"Urge to thump... rising." -FighteerAnd then they'll murder you for trying to oppress them further. Smart.

It was a difficult delivery, now it's growing up mean and strong. As I stated a few pages back: Going by the definition of genocide, Synthesis is genocide as well...
Thus, Control is the only answer if "Because:Genocide" is your only reason for not taking Destroy...

I did take control. Because it didn't involve killing billions and billions of people. Or molesting them. I still would've preferred a "Turn the crucible into a giant robot and lay waste to the reapers while JAM Project plays in the background" ending though.
God-like beings have the tendency to be massive dicks.
"Urge to thump... rising." -FighteerFair enough. I was just making the point. I took Destroy because I have no problem with exterminating a fictional species... And because I had done the extermination about 10 hours prior to the choice.

Oh dear were to begin:
Synthesis: feels like the mother of all Happy Endings, i mean the entire Galaxy becomes allknowing, connectend in a hive mind that leaves individuality intact and soon also immortal. All the souls of the previous races live in the reapers and everyones happy....... DAFUQ?
Controll: Ironically I expected this one to be a Bittersweet Ending for the basic game back before it's release, with the difference that EVERYONE was going to be part of the new reaper overlord-thingy not just shepard. I mean the way it is now this is totally going to be the canon ending because thing about it: Masseffect 4 Shepard!Cataclyst changed his mind "boom" franshice reboot.
Destroy: The game lays this out as a Phyric Victory because "the machines are going to rebel again booohooooo", why does the Cataclyst even think bioical life should be preserved, machines don't go to war they have limitless patience to discuss things out, if war is sooo evulz why didn't they just download everyones mind into robots?
Fuckoff-ending: I lol'd, but thats almost the best ending, because the epiloque implied that the next circle curbstomed the reapers and boy what could be more statisfying then seeing this trashcans being on the reciving end for once.
I chose Destroy because the quarians seemed to happy, and Joker was too happy.
It was a difficult delivery, now it's growing up mean and strong.Word of God says that the new cycle used the Crucible and went for one of the RGB choices.

EDI knew the risks. Her sacrifice will be honored in the coming era.
