@whomever was making theories about Yui's identity: see what I meant by "right idea, but the wrong details"?
Guess they are skipping the fishing story (not that I blame them for doing so). I'll link to it after the next episode so people can see the original honeymoon, a bit about some other people on lower floors, and how the honeymoon "ends" and the next part begins. Probably one of the better written parts of the original book even if nothing really comes out of it.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie!Yeah, I do see. Ow, my heart.
It's been fun.It kind of bothers me how they displayed Kirito as waiting all the way until Yui was sparkles instead of him trying to use the GM account to do that thing as soon as Yui started fading or something.
Otherwise though, I liked the episode a lot.
The first time I saw Yuriel made me think that she was a guy though.
Being at the Heavens, control the land. Being at the Earth, remove its keystones. And lay bare the scarlet hearts of man! That boss is probably from Persona. LOL
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Good thing Kirito has max skill points in Rapid-Fire Typing.
It doesn't seem that fast to me...
I mean I suppose that it's above average-looking speeds, especially compared to people that aren't used to using keyboards, but like i'm typing faster than he is to type out this message sooo...
Actually knowing where to put what in that kind of interface seems to be the more amazing thing to me, especially without errors, since it is such a hasty decision.
Whoops, nevermind. I didn't read the trope page before typing that.

Being at the Heavens, control the land. Being at the Earth, remove its keystones. And lay bare the scarlet hearts of man!Apparently its more like ctrl+c, select location, ctrl+v, which can easily be done with a keyboard, so...
Sooo, over the past two weeks I marathoned novels 1 to 7. Aside from Kirito being obscenely overpowered in every game he picks up, I enjoy reading the novels.
As with all other animes, I'm not too fond of the main pairing.... -sighs- (>_<) I actually prefer that girl who died in SAO, but, ya know...she's dead.
I did naht.Asuna has her own strange malfunctions, but that makes her more interesting. At least to me.
It's an equal opportunity 'we're damaged people' relationship.
Most anime/manga, esp harem types, I almost always like one of the secondary girls more than the designated heroines, but Asuna is one of the few main heroines I truly prefer, and am really happy about their relationship throughout the series. Except, you know, when one or both of them gets dropped from the narrative for extended periods (esp poor Asuna).
Oww. That isn't cool, you don't go and make one of my biggest pet peeves in media suddenly appealing and then rip it from my heart.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comI really have a hard time classifying this as a 'harem' story at all, unless they're Asuna's harem. Most of them spend more time hanging out with her.
They get together all the time, sure, but as long as they're romantically interested in him, they're pretty much part of his harem. Three's the bare minimum and he inevitably stumbles upon more romantic interests in next few arcs.
Well, go Sinon I guess! -sniped-
I did naht.I mean, even with characters like Lisbeth obviously interested in Kirito, it's hard to classify this as a harem show when he and Asuna are married and living together...
It's been fun.Marriage and engagement tend to mean very little in most harem series, so it's not really something that disqualifies it. Same with mutual love and/or the existence of an Official Couple.

I really don't see the Harem thing either.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comI'll settle with the simple, albeit crude definition. "Lots'a girls like the MC"
I did naht.I think for something really to be a Harem Series, the harem has to be a defining part of the premise.
In SAO, we just have a handful of girls who like Kirito, and then immediately give up and accept friendship once they see the whole "Asuna" thing going on.

Yes, SAO is not a harem series but it definitely has the Harem Element to it.
I did naht.I really just think it's a side effect of being a Magnetic Hero rather then a Harem, it's more that then anything else.
Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comMaybe Girl of the Week would be a better way to refer to it? 'Cause Harem conjures up all sorts of other tropes that don't really fit SAO.
Not really, no. The girls are attracted to him in the romantic sense.
The harem and associated antics are there but they're more like fanservice (which Kawahara admitted) rather than a major focus of the series. Everyone unambiguously has some romantic affection for him except for maybe Shino, whose relationship with Kirito seems to me to be more like that of a really close, mischievous friend with a penchant for teasing him.
Yui!!!! Sho Shweet! sho Cute!!! Sho sad...TT.TT
That boss sure was tougher than I thought. It looks like a grim reaper thingy too...Thank Yui for Data eraser-chan!The frog scene is made funnier here too!
