Needs Help: Revive Kills Zombie

We can run an alt-names crowner for the YKTTW concurrently with the YKTTW. In fact, I'll make it and swap it out now.

Shall I go ahead and make the YKTTW, or is someone else already doing so?

I want to go ahead and bump this, since I would really appreciate some advice with writing this YKTTW and no one has really responded.

I apologize for continuing to bump this, but to me this YKTTW appears done. I don't currently have enough hats to launch though, so I want to check my bases if there are still things that need to be addressed, or if I've made some egregious flaw that I'm too inexperienced to have noticed.

Launching now, with Non Obvious Weakness as a redirect, since I had a few people suggest this in the YKTTW (and it was my working title while waiting for the crowner to finish.

I suppose we can leave this thread up for finding a suitable picture, or we can move it to IP now.

We still need to clean the wicks for Revive Kills Zombie. I'd suggest a separate IP thread.

What sorts of things do I need to do then?

Is the quote on Revive Kills Zombie really an example of Outside-the-Box Tactic? Or are feathers a healing item in that game?

Feathers = Phoenix Down, a revival item. It's an example of Revive Kills Zombie.

Revive Kills Zombie used to be something outside of the box... nowadays it's an expected trope.

Revive Kills Zombie has this line: "subtrope of Outside-The-Box Tactic, which covers any weakness an enemy might have that is not immediately apparent"

Is that right? I thought it was more like "subtrope of Outside-the-Box Tactic, which covers other weaknesses that are logical, but not necessarily obvious."

If anything, Outside-the-Box Tactic is a contrast to Logical Weakness, and need not be necessarily logical. If it is immediately apparent / logical what needs to be done, and said logic is not just "the game said so", then it probably belongs in Logical Weakness.

The wicks to Revive Kills Zombie need to be checked and possibly moved, but I simply lack the wherewithal to do it all myself currently, and not a soul has offered to assist.

Have any of the wicks been done here? Need to know for when I put it in the Special Efforts thread.

Not many - I checked a handful back in April before I got overwhelmed and gave up. This one is best done by a single person to avoid overlap.

Description of cleanup:

Revive Kills Zombie wicks need to be checked for misuse, not blindly changed. This trope is Exactly What It Says on the Tin - application of healing magic or items used to damage the undead. Wicks that refer to other unique strategies for dealing with enemies should be changed to Outside-the-Box Tactic.

I'm going to hack away at this one.
