Crownered up.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.I voted it down, btw, because I believe we should do a trope transplant here, not a rename.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.I agree.
Calling someone a pedant is an automatic Insult Backfire. Real pedants will be flattered. So, go to a page action crowner here?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThat works.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Of course, the only difference between a rename and a transplant is what happens to the old name after the page is moved.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.True, but that's an important difference.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.Crowners swapped out.
Waiting on a TRS slot? Finishing off one of these cleaning efforts will usually open one up.I had no idea that was the original definition. Wow...
Is this crowner enough to call?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I agree with the proposed transplant. Perhaps because I'm a n00b to the site, but I never suspected this was anything but 'Zombies hurt by cure spells'
Also, while Final Fantasy X is being mentioned (@26), there's also the second (zombified) form of Evrae that dies to two Phoenix Downs.
That's not a noob. That's just showing that trope names stating X and Y are bad when the definition is Y and Z.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Calling crowner for transplant as it's 24 to 0.

Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickSo should we compile names for the alt crowner?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I think that's in order.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickPropose "Often Overlooked Weakness" as a possible name for the trope being transplanted.
I would be willing to sponsor such a trope through YKTTW if need be.

Sounds a bit too much like an Audience Reaction.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickHow about something like "Implausible Vulnerability"? Still too much Audience Reaction?
Perhaps Non-Obvious Weakness?
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenImplausible isn't really the right word. A lot of times these make perfect sense with the right logic. They're just not what the item or spell is normally used for in the game.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. Dick"Overly Specific Vulnerability"?
Ultimately the supertrope is "A spell or item that can be used in a way other than it's standard function."
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickI thought we liked Outside-the-Box Tactic?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI'm with lu.
Fight smart, not fair.

But yeah.
