But, but, but...
Micheal Bay was supposed to be off that project!
FUCK!
This'll go over well.
I've got two guns pointed west and a broken compass.Someone on that site brought up a good point about the origin change.
The characters are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, not Teenage Alien Ninja Turtles.
Ugh.
I'm not looking forward to what TANT brings us.
...I hadn't even noticed that.
I've got two guns pointed west and a broken compass.Mutant aliens?
That would actually be kind of cool, and thus will not be used.
TMANT then. Add a U and move the T and you have mutant. Ha!
In direct contrast with the Ha(!), I'm am not happy at all about this.
SO what racial slur will Bay make the Turtles?
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans. Here's an interesting thought - show me a scene, any scene, in any piece of turtles media, that is actually made better by them being giant mutants and wouldn't work completely fine if they were just aliens. No, the scenes with the Ooze doesn't count, as that would require the turtles live acton movies having some form of emotional center.
Alright so the Turtles are aliens. What about Splinter? Is he an alien too? If he is, then his backstory's going to necessitate a bit of a change. If not, and he was affected by the Ooze, then why does he get to be mutated and the Turtles don't?

Still waiting for a Legion of Losers movie...Hey, those of you breaking down at seeing Bay's name:
Plus, it's being written by the guys who wrote the newest Mission Impossible movie.
Seeing as how the TMNT hold no nostalgia value for me whatsoever, *gets out the popcorn*
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.^^ Alternatively, either Shredder or the turtles transform him into a rat hybrid with alien technology.
[Up] I think Michael Bay's production involvement was mentioned in the first post. Also, if it's anything like Devil, then any involvement is worth worrying about.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Devil was Shyamalan, not Bay. Amazingly, not every bad director is the same person.
Says Michael Bay on the Turtles. Now that's all well and good but does anyone else find it really suspicious when the people making the movie start talking in critic quotes that you'd normally find on the back of the DVD cover?
Anyway, it'll be interesting to see how they do this. The thing about them being aliens is weird but a minor point, really. Hopefully Bay has wised up and gets the theme song in their this time.
Also, the fact that Bay and other special effects guys are on board really suggests "Technodrome" to me.
And let us pray that come it may (As come it will for a' that)Jonathan Liebesman is directing. You know! That guy that direct Battle: Los Angeles and is directed the new Wrath of the Titans.
That's a surefire sign that this will be an incredible film!
http://www.longcriercat.deviantart.com I'm thirsty. Got any ink? Resident Pen Ward antagonist. There is more than just that one theme song.
Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle.I can't tell if that last bit is sarcasm or not.
Looking for some stories?I was going to make a similar post earlier, but changed my mind...even if I don't think Jonathan Liebesman is a completely awful director.
Not sure if want.
#IceBearForPresident^^^ Don't worry. It was sarcasm. I forgot that if I didn't italicize my words that it would be taken seriously.

Looking for some stories?Let me be clear. Them being aliens has A BIT of merit- the 1987 and 4Kids TV series had the ninja turtles mutated from ooze in the sewer that came from another planet! Bay may have simply misworded that sentence. Heck, recently, he even responded to the uproar in defense. He told all the fans to take a chill pill, and assured that the writers have kept all the things that made us fans of the franchise in the first place!
