Hm, I think this might be an IP one, but before we started tagging pages.
Fight smart, not fair.Seems so, actually – previously, I only searched with the bar at the top but just now I did the Morgue page by page. This is the old thread. However, it's still a copyright violation as nobody got in touch with the artist then. I'm waiting for a reply on Deviant Art...
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. We can add the tag if we get permission I guess.
Fight smart, not fair.Just in case...
Even The Bible is prone to Fan Myopia, so not everyone will get the trope from those pictures alone. Or if they do, they might think the trope is just about the Eden fruit, not the actual trope.
The actual trope is "forbidden means I must have it". It's a character reaction, so the picture needs to show the reaction.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I like that one better than the old pic, although 's point is well made.

Prefer an image without Eve or the Eden apple in it.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.May I ask why you don't want a picture an Adam and Eve picture?
Although that is an example, perhaps the Ur-Example (and certainly the Trope Namer), that is not what the trope is, and such an image is somewhat misleading.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Okay, I've got a response from the artist: "if there is some credits like name and hompage (Daniela Uhlig / www.du-artwork.de) the page can use my work." I presume that if we use that image, the link would go in the caption.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. That is fine with me, good image, keep current, etc.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Clock is set. Are we good with the OP pic?
Keep.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Done, and captioned to link to the artist's page and the original image. Looks alright?
Looks good, but I'm wondering how long it will be before someone complains that her name on dA is "lolita-art" and that some of her art isn't exactly SFW.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I was wondering about the first part of that last night...didn't think about the second but that's an even bigger concern. I'd be fine with moving the artist/image info to either the discussion page or a hidden comment with the pic tag.
Alternatively we could just use her actual name, with or without outgoing link (dependant on how important the borderline SFW material is and how important the name "lolita" is).
Good idea. I changed the link to just her name with a hottip to go to the discussion page for the actual link to her DA page. Locking up.
The painting on Forbidden Fruit, while excellent, is from here and it's uncredited, wasn't chosen by an Image Pickin' thread, and there is nothing to show the artist knows it is here. I'm pulling it whilst I contact the creator on Deviant Art – if people want to make suggestions in the meantime, go ahead in case she doesn't give permission for us to use it.
Yeah Eve, just take that apple.
