I think it's maybe too soon for a reboot.
But then again, it's probably too profitable for Nick to not do.
It's technically too soon for a Spider-Man reboot after Ultimate Spider-Man as well, but I'm not complaining.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).When learned (against our will) from Spider-Man that it's NEVER too early for a reboot!
Season 5 trailer.
Looks like Usagi is finally showing up.
Looks like we finally see the Newtralizer again.
For a dude in the opening he never really shows up.
Danny Trejo probably doesn't come cheap.

Okay, spoilers, after seeing Scroll of the Demodragon, I've moved Kavaxas into the Foot Clan character page here on TV Tropes. I want to make sure that was a good move.
huh it looks like rahzar did die last season, but he's back now.
I'm surprised Tiger Claw is so adamant about bringing back Shredder instead of taking over himself. There were a few moments in the previous seasons where he questions Shredder's judgment. I thought that would build up to taking initiative and controlling the Foot himself, but I guess not.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).New opening. And I don't mean it's the old opening with a few changes, I mean it's completely new. And apparently lifted straight from Cowboy Bebop.
Regarding Rahzar. During the fight at the pier in "Requiem," Leatherhead tackled Rahzar into the ocean, and swam down out of sight. Then Leatherhead came up to the surface, but Rahzar didn't. I guess he drowned just off camera.
How did Tatsu get the kabuto? Last I saw of it Leo had it.

Anyone else think that when Kavaxas brought Rahzar back, he might secretly now be his thrall? Kavaxas may not be able to directly act against Tiger Claw, but maybe he's just waiting for the right moment to tell his minion to grab the amulet and smash it.
Maybe Kavaxas put some secret command in Rahzar's head, but if it's there it's buried deep. Rahzar seemed like his old self.
My favorite moment from the latest episode is when Leo and Karai figured out how to use Tatsu's hearing against him. The white void with only Tatsu and Karai's attacks was very stylish.

He held it up to show the others that Shredder was no more and then he dropped it.
Of course that doesn't explain how Tatsu got it.

A metal detector and a few hours in the woods?
I think Hot Head is playing Tiger Claw now.
It was kind of obvious Kavaxas was mostly just biding his time until the right moment.
Donnie getting mad over what happened with Don Vizioso was kind of lame, though. The turtles have been in far worse situations, yet that sticking with him was out-of-nowhere.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).TMNT 2012 is kind of weird about characterization. This incarnation of Donatello is pretty aggressive, which is fine- but I don't see why he's holding a grudge against the mob boss. If he went in thinking it was a cakewalk and then held a grudge, I could understand.
Can anybody tell me how it was Donnie's fault that they lost the heart in the restaurant?
Also, where did the recap information for "End Times" come from?

The entire Kavaxas arc was released in DVD before it's supposed to air on TV, alongside the Super Shredder episodes.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Wow, final season and the show is having the opposite of its usual issues.
OK thanks.
It seems things got wrapped up a little too quickly with Kavaxas.
The new show in 2018 is going to be hand-drawn again. Which makes me believe that it's gonna be yet ANOTHER reboot, and no it won't be a continuation.
