We're illustrating the trope, not the trope name. Visual puns should not only be the latter.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. The comics would work better as quotes because it's a bunch of text and the visuals don't add anything.
The trope is the GM telling the players what to do. Therefore, this trope actually involves dialog.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. What are some roleplaying games that prominently feature trains?
That's still trying to make a pun on the title, not a pun on the trope and the title. The key point of the trope is the GM forcing the players to do things. Thus a picture has to show that, literally or metaphorically.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. The Weathertop one could work, if you take a couple of the last panels. It's very wordy, but unless we have a better image...
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything. There is also a strip from Order Of The Stick that spoofs this trope. It's where Miko forces them to go with her to face trial.
EDIT: Found the link.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It's more that he claims the trope is in effect, but I don't see it actually being so. She just gave him what he asked for.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Demotivator◊. (Too bad for the 'demotivator' part, though.)
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.That one could work. Strip off the demotivator part and caption it "The DM said they could turn East or West, or continue North."

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.(325)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
That works for me.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.That looks like just a flooded area.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. This is one where the caption and image work together. Did you consider that?
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.@Flooded crossing: It's like a demotivator, only home-made for TV Tropes.
That one's much better.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I do like that cartoon one, too.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.The cartoon is a winner.
Cartoon is perfect
Now that's what I'm talkin' about!
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Cartoon is awesome.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickYes... as long as the top gets cropped a bit. There's a little black thing up there.
Some select panels from this strip of DM of the Rings should do, as the DM literally restarts a scene he scripted without letting the players change anything.
Or this strip, where the DM forces the players to camp at a place, and not before or after.
Basically, this comic is a gold mine for suggestions.
