Trying to find a Tier 6 Bonehammer and Tier 6 Watersword, it's pretty hard to find either =|

Kept getting Magnorbs, some Evil Eye weapon, and some electrical whip thing.

Took quite a bit of fiddling with settings to get 1.0 working for me. Apparently for some reason the resolution kept bugging out and found that the defaults in the config file were set to over 2700.

Kind of a shame there aren't more options for configuring survival mode. I'd love to have needs but without the damned "drop inventory on death" thing.

There's a mod on the workshop that let's you disable item drop but still lose pixels. There is also one that lets you turn on hunger for casual mode.

And I agree. It'd be nice if you could adjust how fast you go hungry or how much inventory you lose. When it said you'd "lose items", I thought it meant I'd lose one or two like in Terraria. Not everything I gathered in the last hour and a half.

I'm stealing every camera I see from this Minikong village. If Earth had more constant surveillance they'd never been ambushed by eldritch horrors. I will correct this mistake.

I swear Starbound has a memory leak. It starts to slow down more the longer I play it.

Well, there's something that definitely happens in growing amounts the longer one plays. Technically this laptop doesn't fulfill all the minimum requirements, and yet I can still play. However, the longer I play, more and more objects start getting replaced by floating black boxes, up to and including the entire background.

Odd. That memory leak thing doesn't happen anymore with me, and this is even after I've had over a dozen planets mined and explored. I'm guessing it's more of a hardware issue then.

Not really. I surpass the mini req by good margin. I am not the only one. There are folks with power rigs having trouble with this game.

its fine for me, and im using a cheap laptop from 2 years ago

it has a bit of lag and rendering issues with big areas but honestly i fully expected that when i bought the game

Has anyone had issues with some of the village tenant quests? In particular one of my Glitch merchant tenants wanted me to build a house for a Floran, a guard to be exact. I did so, putting in furniture and tilings that would attract a Floran, but instead as soon as the colony deed is placed I mostly tend to get random tenants, mostly of the merchant type. No soldiers whatsoever, and it hasn't completed the quest requirements even when a Floran moved in.

So is that mini-quest glitched or what?

Not sure about that... maybe the blocks have something to do with it, build it with plant matter and wood? Or do you have torches or lanterns as your light source?

I stole stuff from the Floran temple that I encountered in the quest, I put in a sinister-looking bookcase, the glowing pile, glowing plant lights, dusty bed (though I don't think this had anything to do with it).

I thought maybe adding a weapon rack would help, but I guess it also contributes to the merchant points?

Yep, I got the same problem too; it's way too easy to set up a house that a merchant would prefer inhabiting. At least the Chef involves logical furniture, such as the kitchen table, refrigerator, ovens, kitchen utensils, etc.

Well, I just lost my entire fucking inventory. Huzzah.

Due to a bug, or dying in an impossible to reach area?

Died on the other side of the most dangerous planet I've landed on,exploring the surface before boring down for durasteel. Finally recovering it cost me all of my pixels. I've given up on ever saving enough for the things to buy those expensive toys and I'm willing to bet they aren't worth the fucking price in the first place.

I think the first thing you need to build with yer Durasteel is the Pixel Compressor. I died a lot after that but now I have about 28k stashed...

Meh. I gave up on the hoverbikes and just use mods now - in particular, the Energy Dash Restoration Mod. That thing makes crossing planets both quick and simple.

I just died on the bottom of an Asteroid Field T_T

Please tell me there's a way to destroy planets, because I want this shit-stain gone. I came here with like 11,000 pixels. I'm leaving with 160 durasteel ore and 91 pixels.

Finally have the pixel compressor. Bet I'll never acquire enough pixels to make a voxel now.

Rotpar: A fairly simple way to help gen up some pixels is to buy the Terramart Stand that lets you sell food items directly from your settlement. Set up your kitchen and cooking locations near by and set up large crop plots. Just make sure you don't build anything over the stand or it won't let you use it until it is cleared.

Basically just set up large farm plots and spam food items. You can also get a bunch of eggs and raise critters so you can make more valuable food items.

I set up on my starter world and while I wait for my crops to grow I roam around the planet hunting and then cook and sell the meat.

Well i bought one fluffalo and i am steadily replacing all the ore that i lost like my hundreds of violium and 7 plus diamonds... Futzing asteroid field...

Something funny that I encountered... Have you seen an avian pirate ship in a volcanic planet? Some fire from the sky happened and their ship burned down.

I don't recall, don't the races have unique armor sets? If I make a new character can I visit my other character's planets so I can collect the other sets?

Is there a way to set the drop-through-platforms controls to be just down instead of down + space?

Also, where's the pause?

There is no pause. You need to go back to the main menu for one.
