The big info dump thread had Tiy Pop in with a message stating to not rely on the list of info. He said it was a good collection of data but that by release some of the features may not be there or might be changed to varying degrees from initial presentation.

Starting to seem some speculation the game will come out early next year.

From what I understand by personality they mean your idle animation.
Also in tweet I think it was Tiy mentioned that the next vid would demo travel and possibly building as well.

This outclasses terraria. The building detail for just a small lab and the flexibility in building is amazing.
At 59 seconds in you can see them connecting the doors to a console device and cycling the doors open and shut. So I dare say there is some sort of wiring system or device mechanic in place.

Interview with Starbound devs Podcast Ep2.
They mention the game is in internal beta testing. Not likely for a public beta though.
I think someone mentioned it earlier but if not the building mechanics are inspired by little big planet.
Engine for the game which is the bulk of the games grunt work is done. Now they are focusing entirely on building the actual meat and potatoes of the game. There is a chance they will make end of year deadline. Just gotta cross your fingers and wait.

If that's true, then this game will make for an awesome Christmas present! Now the question is, which one of you little Tropers have been good children for this year, and which one of you get the TF 2 leftover coals under the Christmas tree...

Have you guys heard of StarForge? When I first heard of it, it reminded me a lot of Starbound but Recycled IN FPS!
