Actually, I thought about that and if you want, I can make it like this: Nanabey has Sayaka's Power Shard, and instead of it being injected, it just grows into a Soul Gem.

I just noticed that I forgot the "everyone lives in different parts of the world" bit... But I have a solution: some portals will appear and transport the characters near the place where the ship crashed. That sort of solves it.
