Well I loved the first one. So this is on my list.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.Two words sum up my reaction: Fuck. YES.
Is the Machete series still technically sorta in the same universe as Spy Kids?
Cause that's hilarious.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. How does that even work?
Hell yes!
Machete is what the uncle' code name was in Spy Kids...and he was played by the same actor so they "share" canon, which means by order of in jokes etc they are also in canon with a few of the director's other movies if I am not mistaken.

You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.Hhm, okay, I thought it was literally sharing canon/same universe.
It does, technically, in some weird way.
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans. Then can someone explain please?
There's no official explanation.
I've got two guns pointed west and a broken compass. No explanation. It just does. Technically.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Aah! Mind screw! How can you not even have a joke explanation? There's always a joke explanation.
Maybe the Spy Kids films are in the future where Machete settled to be a spy and gadgets maker. Why? Because he can.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.Machete can do anything. I thought this was sufficiently explained in the movie...
"The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules." - E. Gary GygaxNo, because doing anything meaning can also explain what normally can't be explained.
Lady Gaga playing a master of disguise assassin sounds killer. This has a stellar cast.
So, she's reprising her role from the "Telephone" video?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI just saw the first Machete. It was a joy of a movie. So magnificently transparent and simplistic, and yet it made perfect sense.
I thought the sequels were a joke, though. He's doing them for real? How can he top what we just saw? I mean, that was the most epic "ride into the sunset" I ever saw!
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.In the sequel's ending, he rides AWAY FROM the sunset, where the sun explodes, without looking back.
Signatures are for lamers.I saw it earlier. I thought about posting it but it was so stupid to me at the time I didn't even want to acknowledge it.
(For the record, I thought it was stupid when Savini had a similar thing going on in From Dusk 'Til Dawn.)
This sounds like it's gonna be so fucking over the top that I won't be able to look away. Gun bras and all.
First trailer with Spanish intro by Rodriguez and Trejo.
Also crediting Charlie Sheen by his real name Carlos Estevez and billing it as "And Introducing" is brilliant.
I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.
With Sin City 2 still having rights issues, Robert Rodriguez will instead begin work on the first Machete sequel, with a production start date set for this April. Danny Trejo will be back.
