Bond on Goldfinger's table◊ should qualify. Image quality kinda sucks but maybe I can pull a decent quality grab of my own, or a better one can be found.
I could have sworn we already have that on a page somewhere.
Reaction Image RepositoryI dunno, the Bond one isn't really a Death Trap, per se. It's more an example of Why Don't You Just Shoot Him?, or rather the reason why that trope exists. I don't know what that one is called, I just did a quick search and couldn't find anything.

"Did anybody invent this stuff on purpose?" - Phillip Marlowe on tequila, Finger Man by Raymond Chandler.All-stars combo of the whips-and-fedoras flavor [1]◊
Eh, the one that's up there now is a better illustration of the same thing.
Reaction Image RepositoryAre we meant to just differentiate this from The Walls Are Closing In, or completely avoid what's probably the most iconic Death Trap in the history of fiction? The latter seems unnecessarily pedantic.

What about the Death Trap Daring Do is left in in "Read It And Weep"? It has about four of five of the Death Trap varities happening all at once.
Suggested already in post 5.
Moon◊I like the grenade in 8.
Fight smart, not fair. It's a good image, but I think Booby Trap is a more narrow thing than Death Trap. An Indiana Jones-style trap would be good. Although I don't like the pony image. As if I had to say that.

The grenade is a deadly trap but it's not really a Death Trap.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. It is difficult to find images that don't step on a subtrope's toes. >.>
Maybe the humorous option isn't so bad. ;)
As per the page description, the Death Trap as a trope is first and foremost a dramatic execution method for the hero to escape. As already mentioned, Booby Traps are indeed only tangentially related, and simple ones aren't even examples at all.

^ If that's the case, then the image needs to be a clear in the fact that it's a contrived execution apparatus created so the Big Bad can enjoy watching the hero's (supposed) death and not just any "lethal trap".
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Might require a comic panel with some dialog.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. The Great Mouse Detective could be an obvious candidate, if we can find a shot that shows the whole setup at once.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.…Except they usually DON'T watch, so just having the hero tied up should suffice. It's all there in the description.
EDIT: I went through the scene, and this◊ is the best shot I could find. The composition is pretty effective and the villain's body language expressive, though I'm not sure if it's easy enough to make out the good guys, and the dramatic trigger mechanism would need to be left out entirely. Opinions?

It certainly looks effective, but is it too effective? Does the hero ever actually stand a chance to escape?
I'm sure I'm going to get flak for this◊, but it was suggested in the There Is No Kill Like Overkill image picking thread.
Again, already suggested in post 5. Different frame, roughly the same shot. I believe it was shot down as being basically the same as the Venture Bros image that's already up there.
Moon◊Nah, it's still the better depiction by a fair margin. We're just pooling up alternative replacement options.

Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
This one's definitely a Keep Until Better Image Suggested, but it does have a minor strike lingering against it in that it's essentially duplicating The Walls Are Closing In*.
Any volunteers for image hunting?
