I love the way they characterize the Robot Masters :3

I really like Part 1 and Gamma unchained

I really like how "The Haystack Principle" references "The Annihilation of Monsteropolis"
Um, wow. I cannot believe I didn't notice Red was out for... 3 months... Dang it, if I'd known, I'd have bought it as a birthday present for myself. Only really realized it was out because I noticed a lot of things had been added to their trope page since the last time I'd checked it.
Well, anyway, I did pick it up, and it was so good. My favorite song has to be "I Refuse (To Believe)", but they're all great. My second favorite on the album is probably Gemineye. Trying to figure out what was actually happening there was cool.
I have a message from another time...Make that Needleman.
Though admittedly there doesn't really seem to be a Robot Master in Red who doesn't seem to be sympathetic in some way, which is probably the first time this has happened. (Topman and Metalman were arrogant, Snakeman was slimy and manipulative, and Bomb Man and Heat Man were just freaking scary.)
I must say, the last four songs in Red (The Red Song / I'm Not The Break Man, Make Your Choice, I Refuse (To Believe), and Melody From The Past) are just amazing. They're all so emotionally powerful, and just about perfectly wrap up the narrative threads that have been running since Get Equipped.
Their best work, no doubt about it.
I have a message from another time...I just realized: in "Man on Fire" one of the lines Heatman says is "this is the breakdown", which actually happens during the breakdown of the song. Neat.
I think The Megas is a pretty cool guy, eh is programmed to fight and doesn't afraid of Death.
