2 and 5 are the fan favorites.

That would be 5 Special. 5 proper is regarded as one of the series' less stellar outings.

I'm hoping I can get my friend into the series since he really likes samurais. I'm pretty worried that the inputs will be the deal breaker for him.

According to this, a "PC Download Platform" most likely Epic, wanted Samsho as an exclusive promising SNK hundred thousands of copies sold in advance, but SNK's CEO rejected the offer because he's convinced the game will sell millions.

Uh, hm. Not to rain on SNK's parade but maybe you shouldn't count your chickens before they hatch.

I do think it will do better than KOF but millions?

That's pretty optimistic.

I'm glad it's gonna be avaliable for everyone but yeah, you should probably reduce those figures.

Samurai Shodown DLC characters Basara, Kazuki Kazama, and Wan-Fu announced

Wan Fu and Basara? Freakin awesome. We got ripped SS 2 wan fu too instead of wan chub from SS 1/6.

Not a huge fan of rimumiru as I always felt she sort of embodied the misstep the series took later on with their focus on characters being too magical. She is adorable at least.

I doubt this game will sell as much as SNK thinks because while samsho was important in SNK's history it lost a lot of relevance(at least outside Japan) after the playstation era and hardly anyone I know IRL under 26 even really knows it. In fact I work with a dude who outright bashed it because he wanted melee in EVO and blames it along with UNIB for melee's absence lol.

Also I have to say that samsho has some of the best designs in a fighting game roster I've seen. The newcomers are cool too, darli is like, exactly what I want out of a fighting game lady and crow boy is pretty darn cool too. I like the chinese girl's personality and look but again she's a bit too magical for my taste.

Also is it me or this like the first Japanese fighter with actual blood in ages?

I feel like the million copy boast might not have been serious on their part. The message seems to have mainly been "Fuck off Epic."

He's probably gonna be season 2. No way they'll leave out the superior brother.

she's been in like 2 games as an actual fighter(one a dream match) so it's a bit silly for her to be a deciding factor especially with the cool cast these games have.

Also TIL that Genjuro is bisexual. And that Yumeji may be nonbinary.
