Well, Nasuverse in general basically a Cosmic Horror Story, with everyone has shades of Blue-and-Orange Morality.
Eh? I thought it was a sex story with extended periods of magibabble.
It stopped being a sex story when it became about dolphins and dragons.
and dear god am I having far more fun with quests than I ever did with normal fanfiction.
Speaking as someone who dropped quests and such for fanfiction, I just don't understand this at all.
Personal preference. Some people really love working with other writers to create a story whereas others prefer to be the only one holding the reigns.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I would guess, it depends on the "others".
Rather than smart, I'd prefer to be wise. It would let me be silly more often.First? A King reigns. A horse has reins.
And second: When you write a quest, you're only taking cues from others, you're still the writer.
If you want to work with other writers, see if you can find a co-writer.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariOh. I thought a quest was just another name for an RP since I've seen them be called that on other sites.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Running a quest is basically being the GM for a campaign where the PCs are run by the majority vote of whoever happens to be around and interested in voting. The common herd can make choices when you let them, but you still retain final control over the narrative.
It's basically a single person writing but with audience input.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariIf you've been reading the Undertale thread, you'd know I've been working on a relatively short crossover where young!Shirou (just after Kiritsugu's death) replaces the protagonist. Considering it heavily retells the game's events, it's best read after playing both the neutral and pacifist routes of the game.
Considering I already have multiple unfinished fics as it is, I'm not gonna "properly" publish it until it's finished, considering the actual story is gonna be fairly short, relatively speaking. But it's been pretty fun to write so far (aside from transcripting the existing script stuff), and I have some really interesting ideas for Shirou, so...
Having seen this page, I now have this weird urge to right a fic where Saber, post UBW harem ending, decides to run as mayor of Fuyuki. She becomes super popular with young voters but the competition try to smear her by bringing out that she lives with Shiro- in other words, a young man, not a relative, who she seems to be gold-digging at least and being in a scandalous relationship with at worse (which she is). Then someone finds out Taiga is around their house often, and makes accusations she's got ties to the Yakuza.
Winning or losing the election would both be interesting...
Normally, I'd ask "Why is she running for mayor?" but this is clearly a crack fic so I won't bother.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!So she can try and fuck up Fuyuki the same way she did Great Britain, obviously.
Or she wants to try being a leader in a less stressful situation? Kill some of her demons that way?
Clearly she's not the best leader in a monarchy, but maybe she'd be a better leader in a democracy? Let's find out.
Science demands it. Specifically, polycsi. If it runs this as a proper testable-predictions experiment maybe the hard sciences will stop giving it shit.
What will Rin think of this though?
And IIRC the Tohsaka family is pretty important in Fuyuki from being there so long. So that could either be good or bad for Saber's chances.

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome Rob"She's a pawn of old money!"
Tabloid Headline: "New Mayoral Candidate In Immoral Harem of Local Fuyuki High School Student!"
Anonymous Student Council President: "Emiya-kun wouldn't be in a... relationship involving that person."
Upon the first attempted interview with Shirou, claims are fully dismissed.
Rin: Just according to keikaku.

"But if that happened, Melia might actually be happy. We can't have that." - Handsome RobShe's a gaijin, so she couldn't even run for office in the first place. Make it EMIYA instead, or even Kojiro, if only to exploit how he could run his whole campaign from the temple without ever moving from there.
For further hilarity, since he can't move from the gate of the temple, he would be essentially sleeping on the street. Hobo Mayor Sasaki. I like it.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariSo he'd be a Japanese Emperor Norton, is what you're saying?
That would be awesome.
Speaking of Sasaki, we know he developed his signature move to take out sparrows ( or was that swallows?) How would he fair against the Roadrunner?
Fate Grand Order players will know me as Ryusei-Go.
It's the curse I must fight against every chapter...
