It may start out with honesty and transparency and even basic human decency, but forum authority is a dark art. At the beginning, you might think the power's just a tool that can be used for good, evil, or neutral like any other. Then one day you're drinking puppy blood out of a skull and listening to a mix tape of cries for mercy, just like any other day, and you realize that you've got an itch that only banning some schmuck and lying about it can scratch. Maybe you try to fight the urge, but you're only human (or thereabouts, this is the internet) and one day your will breaks and when it's done and the doing is known and you can't take it back or even make yourself want to, that's the day you realize. It's not about any "good" you can do with the power, and it never truly was. It's not even about the power for its own sake. It's about suffering, the sweet, delicious suffering of the unfairly persecuted, and the only reason to ever take your hand off the banhammer is to let the peons think they're safe so they'll flock to you like sheep, with such sweet hope that turns into even sweeter despair. There's no escaping it. All angels fall. All heroes die. All innocents grow up.

Luviagelita looked dubiously at the lumbering big man before her, with his hideous face peeking under a badly stitched together mask made of human skin. He held a just as large, extremely noisy chainsaw in his hands.
"Well.." she finally said, "You don't look like you have any special abilities, and anyone will hear you, not to mention smell you, coming from a mile away, but I guess you're still going to be able to kill that Rin bitch's Servant. I mean, if I got you, no way an inferior magus like her could get anything better, right...?"
Berserker grunted madly then and lunged ahead, but before Luvia could command him to stop, the even bigger man wearing a jacket and hockey mask who had just appeared behind her sliced her head off her neck with his machete.
Assassin.
Rin sat back and sighed. "I wonder if I did the right thing. After all, even if she was an enemy Master, and an idiot to boot, Luviagelita still was—"
She shook her head to herself. "No, I can't allow myself doubts. It's a pity, but the ways of the Grail War must be bloody. I suppose I should just be glad I managed to summon Saber after all. But it's so strange. He moves and strikes more like an Assassin, so I wonder who is the Assassin in this—"
Then, there were tiny hands and a huge knife on her throat from behind. There was a raspy chuckle, and she barely could glimpse a small plastic face topped by red hair as she was answered with a "Playtime from Shinji, bitch."
And the knife went into her throat.

Hey y'all. I have a question for Fate/EMIYA. We already know that Lancer can use all of his runes to kill Berserker once. But, can both versions of Gae Bolg kill Berserker, just one, or neither. Furthermore, can he kill Berserker twice with both versions of Gae Bolg, or will one death lock the other out?

I was under the impression that the nonthrown version of Gae Bolg would just bypass God Hand and kill kill Berserker via a stab to the heart. I am probably forgetting something about God Hand and/or Gae Bolg that disproves this though.

I can't recall if there's actual official data on it.
The question actually comes down to: Does Berserker become immune to the Noble Phantasm itself, or to the Noble Phantasm's effect?
God Hand revives Herakles when he dies. Why would killing him by stabbing him in the heart be any different than killing him by any other means?

Perhaps. Perhaps. Yeah, thinking on it, at most it would bypass his skin, but he'd die at least once (if Caliburn can kill him multiple times...) but still would revive.

I think it gets used against Berserker in Primsa Illya so you could try using it to judge how well it would work on him.

That would mean that only Berserker's skin gets rendered impervious to Gae Bolg.
If that was the problem, then it wouldn't matter, because Gae Bolg would enter through his ears if it had to.

...I don't see how it wouldn't. If I recall, it's the skin itself that gains immunity to the weapons used on it, not Berserker as a whole. If Gae Bolg's causality hax let it bypass the skin every time, shouldn't be it able to kill him every time?

If it's just the skin, then Lancer can just activate Gae Bolg twelve times, maybe a few more if Berserker gets lucky.

Damage would either be counted twenty five times per second, sixty or seventy, depending on the refresh rate of real life. Some games, like Diablo, have 25 frames pass per second, most have sixty and I haven't heard of any that use seventy two.
