Wonder how difficult it'll be,
The Protomen enhanced my life.1. Someone add a y to the title.
2. Be funny to have Rocksteady having a villain named... Rocksteady.
Jonah FalconIt would be great if this was real and they only took the license because of their name and the rhino villain's name.
You guys like Let's Plays? You guys like shameless plugs? Well, come on down! That it apparently uses basically the same gameplay as Arkham City is what makes me feel like it's not real and probably just started with someone going "This game is awesome! They should make a Ninja Turtles game that's like this one!" But you never know, I suppose.
Welcome to th:|If they base it on the original comics, don't expect to see Bebop or Rocksteady show up. That said, this looks like it'd be an interesting idea. I'm really interested in hearing if it's true.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)As someone who got introduced to them(well okay I had seen toys from older series before but still) by newer cartoon, I hope so as whole Splinter is human turned into rat thing is silly Not that whole concept isn't silly, but still! Consistency!
Same. This could either turn out brilliant or horrendous. Given Rocksteady's pedigree however, I'm optimistic.

When I heard about the old cartoon, I couldn't understand why they would make Splinter and Himato Yoshi the same character.
You guys like Let's Plays? You guys like shameless plugs? Well, come on down!Because kids can't hear about deaths of characters!
It was probably cause, to quote the Pragmatic Adaptation page, it simplifies Splinter's back story, gives the turtles a more direct tie to ninjas (trained by an actual ninja as opposed to the pet rat of a ninja), and gives scenes between Splinter and Shredder a personal edge. The show even did a good, touching episode where Splinter briefly regained his human form.
The Protomen enhanced my life. From what the article says, it sounds like this game is based on the 80s cartoon version of TMNT.
...And that's the main red flag that's telling me that this is fake. If a new Ninja Turtles game was coming out, it would almost certainly be based on the upcoming Nickelodeon version.
Why? There was an 80s TMNT game not long ago, wasn't there? TMNT Smash Up or something?
I do dislike cashing in on eighties nostalgia, but I prefer "Splinter is Hamato Yoshi" to the whole thing of him being a pet rat.
visit my blog!It still doesn't make seeeense.
I mean seriously, human + mutagen = Rat, turtle + mutagen = Humanoid turtle.
Consistency!
Umm Spooky? that is explained. The mutagen causes them to take on traits of whatever they had most recently been in contact with. The turtles had most recently been in contact with Yoshi. But Yoshi had been in contact with rats. So the turtles became humanoid, Yoshi became a rat, and this is the exact reason Shredder steals zoo animals to transform Bebop and Rocksteady.
Besides, in the original comics it was just some alien chemical that caused you to turn into whatever was convenient for the plot. That's not exactly better.
visit my blog!Still find it silly and liked original version better xD
Let's face it, "You mutate into whatever you touched" thing doesn't make much more sense than "Random mutation!"

A game like this would be good only if they take the basic formula the latest movie tried to do, and make it better.
The latest movie focused on badass ninjitsu, while also highlighting how silly the story and idea can get at times. Couple that with intense brotherly dynamics, and you could have a pretty good game on your hands.
Maybe not the best game made, but a game that'd certainly make people brofist again over the idea of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Rocksteady? How appropriate.
Seriously hoping this is true. I haven't played any of the Ubisoft licensed games, but I've heard they're kind of mediocre.
That game was almost entirely based on the 2003 cartoon and the CGI movie. In fact, one of the major complaints about that game was the total lack of characters from the 80s cartoon. That and the Rabbids.
