Fixed it. The mark-up line was saying the image was 239 pixels wide. It's really 335. So it was only displaying the leftmost 239 pixels.

[up] That's a lesson in and of itself - when you put a pic on a page, always check its dimensions so you know how wide to set the windows for the pic and caption.

Speaking of captions, should we put one in for the goddesses' names and personalities, or leave it as is?

[up]I think that a caption could be useful, but I don't play Zelda so I don't know who is who.

Red is Din/"sexy", blue is Nayru/"Ideal", green is Farore/"Childlike".

The caption isn't supposed to be about Zelda, it's supposed to be about the trope. Maybe, "Mrs. Pleasant Ms. Sexy and Miss Cutie"

That is sort of not true. The caption is about the image. Connecting Zelda and the trope might be nice.

Well they are the goddesses of wisdom, power and courage. "Mrs. Wisdom, Ms. Power and Miss Courage?"

That seems like a good idea. Ideally yes, a caption connects the image with the trope, and that works.

The words above are to be read as if they are narrated by Morgan Freeman.

My concern is that that doesn't get the trope across...it highlights a different set of attributes than what the trope is conveying.

We could just agree to leave it caption-less, unless anyone has anything better.

It's obvious which character shows what traits, and giving their names doesn't enhance anything, so I think this is best captionless.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

Crown Description:

IMPORTANT: The image should show the 3 different character types that form the trope.

  • Type 1: Childlike, innocent, naive
  • Type 2: Wise, calm, steady. The "ideal" wife.
  • Type 3: Sexy, seductive, independent

Try to vote for an image that makes it clear which woman has which personality.
