I like Video Game Bestiary and just Bestiary for the Super-Trope. Monster Compendium can be moved to where it's more of an actual encyclopedia.
To me, Defeated Monster List brings up an image of all actual lists of enemies you've defeated, which generally are basically not more than name of enemy and number of times defeated. Unless that's also supposed to be a part of the trope.
Enemy Field Guide sounds more like a plain encyclopedia.

The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.I question the necessity of renaming this. Who cares if some old D&D book had a similar-sounding name.
But we do have two tropes here: GM reference versus in-game log.
An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.People are misusing it for any kind of monster book regardless when this about a certain kind of bestiary.
We need names that help clarifying the diversity of monster encyclopedias.
Put me in motion, drink the potion, use the lotion, drain the ocean, cause commotion, fake devotion, entertain a notion, be Nova ScotianThat's because this page is currently "any kind of monster book" + a Collection Sidequest to reveal the entries. But there is no reason to make it that specific. Games also have similar collection books for other kinds of info, from inventory items found all the way to bits of in-universe historical trivia (as in the Codex of the Dragon Age and Mass Effect series). Are we to have specific pages for those, too?
Monster Compendium should be a generic monster book trope. And if Collection Sidequest isn't enough to cover the book completion quest, a new trope could be made for that.
@30- players like to reference them, too. The GM is not the only target audience.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Yes, although players don't necessarily have access to the MC during the actual campaign - that's up to the GM to rule on.

How dose Enemy Field Guide sound?
The field guide part implies it's something for usage of looking up creatures you see on your journey rather than a supplement for the Game Master.
The enemy part implies this is for anything you fight even if it's not exactly a monster (Robot Soldier Mooks, Evil Wizard Bosses). This will help discern it from just a Fantastical Nature Book.
