Inspector Gadget has a mallet that comes out of his hat, but don't have a source (cartoon or live movie) to capture from.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I did a bit of googling for pictures from anime and tried to find a picture from Zelda Wind Waker of Link holding the skull hammer, but I didn't really find anything. You could alway wade through some manga and find something better.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I think Strange Candy might have some good pictures.
Also, why isn't this called Hammerspace Mallet as the main name?
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Solution, an immediate before and after picture.
I like the Inspector Gadget type idea because the mallet is still "connected" to the source, shows where it came from. That might work also.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.Still needs to be clear that it comes form the hat, and is not just some f'ed up headdress.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. We could also use the El Goonish Shive example that used to be the Hammerspace image: [1]◊
+1
use that.
Inspector Gadget is not an example. The trope is about hammers pulled out of nowhere, not hammers pull out a clearly identified storage area.
I like the EGS pic.
Might it be to stack the panels on top of each other, allowing for each of them to be a a bit wider?
I'm pretty sure that's the same width as in the actual strip, so I don't think we can make it any wider.
Bump... Any other suggestions, or should I put up the EGS pic I linked to above?
Let's get a few more votes for it, we don't have anything approaching a true consensus yet.
I like the EGS pic.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I suggest Amy Rose. It shouldn't be too hard to show. All you need to do is find a screenshot of her without the hammer and her using it. Even cropped screenshots would work, especially to make it a small multi-part image.
EGS is good.
The Internet misuses, abuses, and overuses everything.Anyone else like the EGS pic?
Take the EGS pic.

This trope is about hammers that characters are somehow able to procure from out of thin air to bonk people over the head with. This image only shows us the second part.
