*fistbump*
Yeah, I love that song. It's a shining example of the way Daltrey can switch from sensitive and fragile to angry and frustrated in a split second, which I think is his greatest quality as a singer.
Mache dich, mein Herze, rein...Interestingly enough, Howlin' Wolf was a massive influence on a band I rather admire. Most people are quite unaware of this.
I'll hide your name inside a word and paint your eyes with false perception.Er, you know Townshend sings the anrgy parts on that song, right?
If you don't like a single Frank Ocean song, you have no soul. Some parts are sung by Townshend, but the "sensitive"/"angry" parts at the beginning are definitely Daltrey. And there are many other Who songs where Daltrey "switches" like this.

True, it's a common theme (I was thinking of the angry parts ad the second and fourth verses). He's my number 1 vocalist. No one has the strength, swagger, and range. Mercury, Morrison, etc have 2 but not all three.

If you don't like a single Frank Ocean song, you have no soul.Yeah, Daltrey's great. As for Morrison, I like him mostly because of the "atmosphere" he could set with his voice - the Doors made very gloomy, dark, haunting music, and his voice and singing style were a major factor in that.
And Fogerty is my number one... his sheer power is rarely matched, but what does it for me is the way he can scream his lungs out and still sound very soulful and sensitive.
