Giving this a bump, as I just checked this by posting in a thread in IP that's starred, but the thread isn't showing up in the list...is this a sign of a more serious problem?

Specifically, I'm talking about this
page, the new posts page. The orange star doesn't show up there, so people who rely on it for their updates don't notice that there's work to be done. On the giant threads that everyone pays attention to its less important, but for the small tropes that just need a hundred or so wicks tweaked, it would be very helpful.
