Also it used to be this, which I like because "Dr. Horrible" is a villainous name:
Here is the old thread. I don't see why DH wasn't on the crowner.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I think that's a good example, but that image doesn't really focus on him as a protagonist. There are two different characters sharing equal space inside the image.

Usually when the title of a show (etc.) is a name, it's the protagonist's name.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I know, but the visuals aren't really adding anything there. All I'm asking is for an image that focuses more on the titular character.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
Looks much better
As long as that's not the pic on the work page, that'd be fine.
It is :( Here () is another; tho the work page would maybe be better off with something else. Also, isn't a work and a trope having the same image ok?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.
Edit: Ninja'd.
Why not use that for the work image, and put the one that's currently there on Villain Protagonist?

Yes that is also an option. Also Destroy All Humans and Mega Mind are good, tho MM doesn't look particularly villainous. Other than the spikes. MM won a crowner, but I think that was kind of bogus, a very good choice wasn't one of the options.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. While the pics feature the same core material, the formats are different enough that I don't think it'd be too much of a stink to use them.
What about this◊ from Despicable Me?
There's always Overlord◊, but the problem there is that it's difficult to tell that the Overlord is the protagonist because of how Obviously Evil he looks.
Still need More Dakka, and it's about time to start a real WAAAAAGH., I like both of those.

"...it's difficult to tell that the Overlord is the protagonist..."
Disagree, protagonist just means "main character". He is large and central and the title is "Overlord". It's great. I think Dr. Horrible is good too tho. Another crowner?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like Overlord better.
Fight smart, not fair.Crowner's up.
On a sidenote, I recall something from some Grand Theft Auto ad and/or cover art saying "ever get sick of playing as the good guys" or something like that. I wouldn't suggest it for a page image, but I think it would make a better quote than what we have now (since many Villain Protagonist portrayals are much more lighthearted than the ones in Dexter and in turn draw much less ire from moral guardians) if we could find the exact wording.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartAnyway, the Overlord pic is well in the lead, would now be a good time to call it?
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartThis one's beyond decisive. Can someone add the Overlord pic to the page and PM me?
...or I can take care of it. The pic is up, potholed, and tagged; feel free to add a caption. Locking up.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
IIRC the old image on this page was the one currently on My Brain Is Big, and I believe THAT one was also changed without discussion (the old My Brain Is Big image was a green alien guy I believe). The current Villain Protagonist image is also duplicated on A God Am I, albeit cropped.
