(that is of course assuming they ARE actually copies of Aria which I'm semi-doubting since it's not mentioned anywhere in Xrd's story mode and the fact that El and Ram have different voice actors entirely from Aria and the first Valentine)

I'm no fan of Incest either, but I find the idea of two characters being each other mothers (even if one is only a step mother) to be oddly humorous.

I mean, that's the kind of thing you need time travel to usually pull off.

First Valentine was the direct clone of Aria, right? While the other Ramlethals are beings based on a Valentine template?

Trying to get through story in XX #Reload and Accent Core + R is killing me. Blaz Blue never kicked my ass this hard.

I can always Youtube those story segments but then why the hell did I buy those games then lol.

You can kind of skip the X2 games in terms of plot, not much happens and Overture and Xrd kind of ignore them for the most part.

Which I suppose explains why some characters have appeared, and some haven't.

Though XX also has Slayer and I-No, who are both vital to the plot (well, I-No might be more so due to being a direct servant of that man, but Slayer is important for the Assassin's guild plot).

Never mind that, I'm still wondering if they plan on having Dizzy be playable again.

On the other hand, she hates fighting and hurting people anyway, so maybe her no longer being playable makes sense.

Thing is, just because they have a story reason to leave out Dizzy, doesn't mean they should use it to keep out a perfectly good playable character, and one of the more popular ones at that. Plus I always figured she'd be more confident in her powers and fighting people. (Albeit still wishing to avoid it)

That, I agree with. I can only guess what's going on in their heads. Perhaps there's another reason they are keeping her out of the action.

Then again, she was sealed due to the Valentine's Gear Sublimation ability, which could even affect her, so maybe it's like they still fear she could be controlled or something.

I never did find out if Valentines and Backyard residents as a whole are more powerful than Gears or not.

So, if what I've read of the backstory is correct, the Universal Will caused the downfall of all technology in 1999, and a group came out of nowhere to replace it with Magic.

Eventually, the world reached a sort of Magi Tech Empire Level where Clarke's Third Law was more or less in effect.

I've been wondering what kind of stuff they have: Are there still normal Cars and Motorbikes and stuff, or is everything a hover car and the like?

Depending on what they run on, hover car is fine. Normal cars and automobiles, well, prior to Xrd taking X and XX into Broad Strokes, they were considered Black Tech for being environmentally unfriendly.

So it just hit me.

There have been theories that Sol might be the father of Dizzy, but that can't work. Dizzy is half human, so the father had to be someone who isn't a Gear.

Now some of you might say But Justice laid an egg that hatches after her defeat. So she could have had sex with Sol before he was turned. This makes sense, and considering what seems to have happened to Ky, there's some merit to it, except that Sol is the one Gear who can't be controlled by Justice, because he was the prototype. So he was a Gear before she was.

He can't be the dad.....

Unless he had sex with her after his conversion, but before her own.....

Shit. I just ended up added more fuel to that theory, and I was trying to disprove it.

So, for anyone who already played Accent Core Plus R, did someone noticed the Madoka Magicka cameos in the May Ship Stage? Altough they had different hair colors

I mean, we see her fly during her intro (which is her opening scene in the story mode as well), and when she stops Sol from going into the backyard.

Since Ramlethal can do it(and I suspect the first Valentine could as well), I assume Elphelt can, even if it doesn't get much emphasis. I just want to be sure.

I suppose yes, flying is part of the Valentine power spectrum.

Sol's favourite movie is Highlander, followed by Mad Max The Road Warrior.

Also, I'm finding myself curious about the types of Magic in Guilty Gear.

I mean there's the elemental stuff (Fire, Ice and Water, Lightning, Wind. I'm assuming there's earth as well), and there's Ki, which is it's own category, but now I'm wondering if there's other stuff.

Like, is there magic that lets you change clothes instantly, or mend ruined clothing? Is there Magic that lets you instantly pay for food. Also, are there still insurance policies in this world? There are a lot of little things I wonder about with Guilty Gear.

Oh. I saw the clip of the dude standing up and losing on Innerspace (Canadian Space Channel show about games, Sci-fi, comics etc) but I never knew what game they were playing. Now I know.

Edit: Do we know which characters have Super-Strength?

I mean, Sol is obvious, and Dizzy is probably a lot stronger than she looks.

Potemkin is also a given, but who else?

I'd expect all the Valentines to be really strong, even if they don't look it, but it's always hard to tell really.
