Definitely seems to be on the eccentric side of the scale, this character.

To sum up what we know of Jack-O' so far...

• It's Jack-O' with an apostrophe at the end.
• She plays like Overture, setting up little pumpkin houses that steadily pump out minions. The minions apparently level up the longer the houses stay active, but at the expense of a separate Gauge.
• Her normals are said to be very short ranged. I heard crouching Kick into crouching Slash doesn't work point blank.
• Her intro and her outro.
• She's got that Bayonetta booty.

Arcsys knows their audience.

She's a lot cooler with the mask on than off. Her walking animation is great. Her playstyle seems unnecessarily convoluted though. Idk maybe she would fit more in Blazblue.

While I am dissapointed it wasn't Bridget... Jack-O' still seems pretty fun character wise and I like her design.

Does anyone have a guide to playing the characters in Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus R (it's like they're doing this on purpose)? I just got the game off Steam, but there's no manual. Characters like Sol or May are easy enough to figure out, but the lack of a manual is a real problem for people like A.B.A or Jam, who are outright impossible for me to understand.

I also find it messed up that the Help & Controls section tells you of the various defensive options like the green barrier or combo breaker, but doesn't tell you how to actually use them.

Maybe they've decided not to have her as an active fighter anymore.

Not in the next installment doesn't mean not gonna be a fighter period, friends. Let's just wait and see how this plays out.

This is a typical ASW move, let's be real here. She's going to end up in the Extend version as the exclusive new character to that update.

No, this is the 2.0 treatment.

I'm more convinced this is Extend. 2.0 is when they released an expansion that Elphelt, Sin and Leo are immediately available, and that's it (but that never happened). Johnny and Jack'O here sounds like Relius back in CS, and Celica-Lambda in CP.

This is essentially the CS treatment, seeing as how we're getting a brand new story and all.

And one unexpected last minute Face Heel Turn that will doom the audience's view towards that character forever. I'm calling dibs on... Millia and the rest of the Assassins Guild.

This is a bump.

So I got to thinking about Elphelt, and how she is another physical copy of Aria.

Since Aria is Justice, that kinda means Elphelt is sorta Dizzy's Mom (or at least a close physical copy).

Now, if you are shipper and pair Sin and Elphelt, in addition to the Incest Subtext (She's a physical copy of his Grandmother, which is close enough to actually being his Grandmother), if they got married (Elphelt would love that) then Dizzy would be her mother in law,

So Dizzy would be her own Mother's Mother in law.
