So... What was the red... stuff... doing in the container? I noticed the heart shape it made in the fourth panel, but other than suspecting that it's reflecting Mimi's love for Junior, I'm not sure what the purpose behind that expression was.

The red stuff fell in love with Minie.

Also, it's whatever    evil    stuff Him put into Mimi.

I did, if you're referring to him seeing Junior and Minnie in their compromising position. Here, however, he's acting like he has no idea why Minnie is throwing a tantrum, even though he saw Junior sticking up for Mimi in his Mom's face (and flipping her the bird while at it!!!).

EDIT: Oh, fuck me. It just hit me now what Grim's last line was about: "I tink some-ting turned it on." THE RED DEMON-STUFF WAS TURNED ON BY MINNIE'S TANTRUM!!!
