She's not going to do that, after that speech she gave just last strip. More than likely, she's going to take one of the practice-knights' heads off.

How do you know that she didn't give said speech just to have an excuse to justify her objection to anyone helping him? Not that I want to believe that she is allowing her jealousy to overcome her better judgment, but she has shown herself to be unnecessarily vindictive and prone to violent tantrums when it comes to Junior apparently showing hints of interest in another girl. The first two I think she was just enjoying being pinned under her brother.

While it's true that it's obvious she enjoys the situation on one level, the second pic's last panel makes me suspicious that she knew she could've freed them in a much less painful way, but didn't because she wants to punish Junior for his supposed "infidelity" due to being too close to Mimi in Minnie's opinion.

That and there's a definite S&M subtext to this strip, often bursting into text, especially where Mimi is concerned.

You know Junior's Superpowered Evil Side is making a lot of sense right now. Mimi is completely feral. But alas Love Makes You Dumb.

Isn't it more of a Superpowered Alter Ego now than a truly Evil Side? Seems like by the time Mimi broke into the castle, Junior and his Nergal symbiote have come to an accord compared to back when they tried to overtake him when he was demonstrating his powers to Spawn in the middle of explaining how he got them.

The old Nergal would have sent Mimi back to her Pa in pieces.
