Based on what Lan said in the opening of episode 5, I think Rinne is the name of the planet she comes from, and apparently a "Lagrange" flower grows there, thus giving us our title. How it relates at all to anything is beyond me.
Maybe the guy was a botanist over there and came to Earth to be famous for common-sense physics we Earthlings simply hadn't discovered..

Interesting episode, the dude with the jacket seems to be very cunning, breaking Muginami was part of a plan to make Rinne blossom. Well I guess in the next episode we will see if that's a good or bad thing.

I like how there's random funny moments sprinkled throughout, and even more impressive is that they don't detract from the atmosphere at all.

The particle-effect on the laser beam was eye-candy.
So, yeah, not!Kotetsu has become more of an antagonist, as well as Moid, and the Rin-ne has bloomed, whatever that means. At the very least it involves a giant fireworks display followed by a shower of energy flowers. ... yeeeeeah.

So, episode 7. Daww, poor Mugi and not-Kotetsu. And...THE EELS, WTF WAS THAT NECESSARY? And look, they had a bath scene without overwhelming Les Yay, so that's going aw-wait never mind, it just came back in full force.
In short it was quite schizophrenic with what mood to set.
Also not-Kotetsu is almost strangely fitting considering that on the Viz Media site, it recommends Tiger And Bunny on this show.

Incidentally, something's been bugging me about the English title for this series.
Lagrange: The Flower of Rin-ne... why didn't they just translate Rin-ne? I mean, last I checked, Rinne means Samsara. Not exactly a common word, but it at least means something to English-speaking audiences...
