Heh I liked that guy Cad Bane killed so he could take his hat.
That was darkly funny.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Strictly from the films, a few:
Zam Wesell, Oola, Ki Adi Mundi, Mas Amedda, Orn Free Taa (and his escorts), Sly Moore, Bossk, 4-LOM, to name a few.
Would it be cheating to say Mara Jade? I think Legends said an extra in ANH or Return was her in disguise, and I know for a fact that she was canonically at Jabba's place during the latter anyways. :3
but HOW?From the movies, I am quite fond of Poggle the Lesser, due his neat design and delightfully cool clicking noise language. I liked how he seems the one Separatist leader (aside from Dooku) who's actually ready for the war (since he's a weapons manufacturer) rather than some oligarch bumbling around like everyone else.
A deleted scene in AOTC gave him a cool Badass Boast in the form of Padmé telling him "Your actions will result in war. I hope you are prepared." and he just responds, swiftly "We make weapons, Senator. Of course we are prepared!"
Shout-out to how, when Anakin slaughters the Separatists in ROTS, Poggle is the only one within their ranks to make an effort to fight back: he tries (to no avail, evidently) to block his lightsaber with his cane.
Outside of the films, I quite liked Master Tera Sinube the aged Great Detective Jedi from TCW with his saber swordcane. I wish some EU would clear up what became of him.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Mara was in the ROTJ radio drama disguised as a palace dancer, but she wasn't assigned an in-film character so her role was 'offscreen' as it were.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Max fucking Reebo is a treasure and I hope to god he survives in the new EU continuity.
The bounty hunters and Captain Fordo are pretty cool too.
"I'll show you fear, there is no hell, only darkness." My twitterThat is one of the most 90s things I've seen in a while. Feels kinda like a parody of people's complaints about Legends.
but HOW?My vote goes to Admiral Piett in Empire Strikes Back. Not as minor as some of the guys others have listed, in that he's more than an extra. The guy's so clearly walking on eggshells as his boss runs through every leader figure beneath him; my favourite bit of minor tension is when Piett realises the Falcon's got away, looks nervously at a silent, brooding Vader, and then Vader just turns and walks away. Still waiting on his spin-off film, Disney.

Seconding Captain Fordo.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.I see him as the Percy/George figure in the Star Wars/Blackadder crossover.
I've kind of always wanted 8t88's head to show up again.

Admiral Piett and Captain Panaka.
Billie Lord (Carrie Fisher's daughter) has a role in the sequel trilogy and I enjoy watching her part in the mutany.
Also one of Snokes guards, who managed to be the third to last to be killed is disarmed by Kylo but then just starts wailing on Kylo with his fists and gosh, bravo.
Also the first order spy with black claws at Max's Castle who is just lounging on the chest of a ten foot tall alien, what a look.
Also also the Ewok who goes to grab his friend only for his friend to be dead. ='(
And Sabula, good minor villain. He's dick dastardly with arms for legs and legs for arms!
Piett absolutely, his relationship with Vader just gets even more interesting in Return where he's gained more of an understanding of the Emperor's boogie monster.
Malakili, the rancor trainer. He just wanted to help the poor creature escape a life of constant abuse.
Malakili's a good one, yeah. Also Jabba's band and most of the Cantina aliens.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Gonk droids. All of them.
This song needs more love.Bail Organa. He's actually my favorite character in the whole franchise, despite being very minor even in The Clone Wars and other material.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain. For a more recent example, the little guy that feeds casino tokens into BB-8 in TLJ - who is voiced by Mark Hamill!
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Also, Tarpals. He's the Gungan we all deserved, and the one we needed.
And the Toydarian King in The Clone Wars, Katuunko.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Seconding Captain Tarpals for the PT. General Maximillian Veers for the OT. And Captain Canady for the ST.

Interesting Veers trivia: He has the dubious honor of being the first named character from the movies to be killed off in Legends. Gen. Madine from ROTJ was the second.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."I third Katunnko and Tarpals. Tarpals gets a fitting send off in TCW.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."I thought drunk token guy was JGL
My various fanfics.Just found out that the actor who played Captain Canady also voiced Darth Decimus in The Old Republic, the Republic arc villain/Imperial quest giver for Corellia. Visually he was a combination of all of the worst possible choices for Sith characters, but he did have a cool voice.
I'm fond of IG-88, especially considering in Legends he uploaded his consciousness to the second Deathstar in a bid to take over the galaxy mere seconds before it exploded. All the Bounty Hunters that aren't Boba are pretty cool, 4-LOM and Zuckuss have a neat partnership.
I also really like the red guy from Force Awakens as well, he has a neat design. I can't remember his actual name but I know he's called the Crimson Corsair and is a somewhat famous space pirate apparently so that's cool.
As a kid I actually liked Sebulba, but I don't know how minor you'd consider him to be really; I wouldn't call him relevant, but serving the purpose of The Rival gives him some narrative clout at least.
