Well, I've read the Dune books, I'm in the middle Foundation, and I read about seven Star Wars Expanded Universe books before I got sick of them.

I'm looking for another good Space Opera series to keep me busy for a few months, and I saw this one on a few lists on Amazon. Can anybody vouch for it?

Given your tastes I highly recommend Reynolds. Also Iain M. Banks.

It's really great! Possibly one of the best sci-fi books i've ever read - I reccomend Peter F Hamilton as well though, his books are genius and completely unputdownable! (Cliched I know, but this is one of the few cases where it's true...)
