Okay so after following the RP for a day or two I still don't think I've fully got the grips of everything enough to jump in. I don't know why, I'm just convinced I don't have a grasp of the importance of anything.

Well, is there anything in particular you can focus on, or is it just a general feeling?

Regardless, my advice would just be to throw Jack in in any case. When I'm actually R Ping, I think I see things differently than when I'm just viewing it from the outside, and it might be the same with you. Sometimes you just need to do.

And if you still don't understand everything, I think you should still be able to have Jack interact with other people, react to events as they come, etc.

But yeah feel free to ask me any questions.

I'm not sure really what to ask. I think it's just a general funk I'm in. Nothing is beyond my ability to understand, and everything I need to appreciate the story is there, but I just can't make the connections in my brain. If you asked me several specific points I'd be able to give the right answers, but none of the answers really form a kind of coherent image in my head, and thus I feel kind of blind and useless.

But I will repeat, I think, what I said above.

I would advise just throwing Jack in there and playing as him as best you can, getting back up to involvement speed, so to speak.

It might help, it might not, but I think this general funk and issue that you mention will only get worse if you don't try and just RP along.

Thanks, Pyro. None of this is your fault, I've missed out on huge swathes of this plot and my understanding of its intricacies and my impact on the story therein have become superficial as a result.

Also, did we fight the Terminator just then, or was that just a name Pyro gave a robot, like that Fake!Balrog he named because everyone just called it the Balrog.

It was a Messian dued in a suit with a jetpack who had lots of guns.

And his job was "Terminator."

At least that's what I think.

And the Messians are the ones that want to blow up the world, right?

The Gaeans want to do that, or at least the Dio-affiliated ones do.

The Messians are much more murky in terms of their goals at this point.

My personal guess is that they're world domination types.
