Teens dress as Batman to catch pedophiles; cops not impressedRare's swan song for me was Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts.
It would have felt better if it were a new IP instead of a Banjo game, and I would have much preferred a game closer to the series' roots, but the game itself was really fun and it showed that many of them still knew what they were doing. It was the last game that Grant Kirkhope composed for Rare before leaving.
After that, though, Microsoft fired much of Rare's creative team and had them scrap all projects in favor of mediocre Kinect games. As much as I would like to see a new Conker, they're just not fit to make it. They might have been in 2008, but definitely not now.
Why are people excited about this? The last time they made a mature launch title, we had Perfect Dark Zero, which was for several years the worst title Rare had ever made.

Hey, guys, can we not turn this into yet another Rare complaint thread? I mean, really...
Anyway, this news intrigues me; I wonder if this game is a sequel for Perfect Dark...
Experience has taught me to investigate anything that glows. If it weren't mature, I'd love to see Jet Force Gemini again. Since it is mature, something like Perfect Dark or even Killer Instinct is cool.
Support Gravitaz on Kickstarter!CONKER.
Never tell your problems to anyone...20% don't care and the other 80% are glad you have them. That feel when It will most likely use The kinect as its only control scheme.
It will probably be a kinect thing, like Kinect Pole Dancing, Kinect Wars, Kinect Slaughterhouse...
I am completely, utterly, and thoroughly done with Sola Sonica and 2DCall me crazy, but I think a Kinect Poledance would be great for parties.
Up until the point you realise there's no actual pole, and someone manages to break a coffee table with both their knee and the back of their head.
Well, I suppose we'll have to wait and see, but even if it's good, they're not really Rare anymore. And it'll probably use Kinect, which is ugh.
Do loafing!I don't see why there needs to be another X Box Console, is it bringing anything new to our thumbs?
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackLike it or not, shiny sells. Also, improved processor means more things can be rendered at once.

Came across this just now. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2011-10-04-rare-making-mature-game-for-xbox-720
Even though I know a few people who have turned away from Rare, I am curious to know what this is if it is true. Perhaps this is the long awaited sequel to Conkers Bad Fur Day? A game based off of a film?
