The general meaning of "fatal attraction" (which was probably also inspired by the movie...) is "love turned to murderous obsession" or some variant thereof. The specific suspect-seduces-detective thing described by the trope is almost certainly named after the movie.

The work's example bullet point further down the page doesn't even explain it either, just that it is "all about this trope". I only found out who she is after reading the summary in the work's page.
