I support this suggestion. Especially on a touchscreen phone it is way too easy to hit. As is the 'mark all messages as unread' button, for that matter.
A brighter future for a darker age.I also strongly request a confirmation screen on the mailbox "delete all" as well. I dumped my whole mailbox by accident a couple of months back (and I wasn't even using a mobile — my optical mouse developed a case of mouse-drift from a tiny strand of cat hair on the sensor.)

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I agree. I also wish that there was an "Are you sure you meant to click this advertisement?" button.
I'm not crazy, I just don't give a darn!We just definitely need prompts...
.....WHERE? I'm trying to find the button that will mark messages read AT ALL! D:
"Mark all as read" doesn't appear to be in the current mailbox, and other prompts have been asked for in Wishlist. Locking.
Not sure if this is the right place but...
There really needs to be a prompt after this is pressed. WAY too many people have accidentally pressed it(especially on their mobile devices) and it really sucks. So why not just give us a prompt?
"Are you SURE you want to mark all messages as read?"
This would really save a lot of people some headaches and should be simple to add.
