What do you think of my Dhampyr?

So I have this character who's a Dhampyr. I took a good long look at the Dhampyr page and said, "How can I play with this?" Here's what I came up with:

1. The character does have the usual vampire strengths, but only when she drinks blood. It doesn't have to be human blood, but she's not above doing that.

2. She is more or less mortal. She'll be long-lived and is hard to kill, but she can die from normal ways as well as vampire ones.

3. She can go out in sunlight, but prefers avoiding it altogether.

4. She sees herself as more vampire than human and acts like it. She does start off being somewhat ashamed of her human half, but I wouldn't call it Wangst. Insulting her vampire heritage is a Berserk Button.

It's not for anything people are actually going to see, I just want to know what you guys think.

Sounds cute. I'm sick of all those vampires...

It was really more of a "what do you think of her physical abilities and drawbacks" than her personality. But to clarify on the latter; she starts out being an Alpha Bitch who somewhat softens up after undergoing a major Break the Haughty. She eventually evolves into a Type II Anti-Hero and crafty Deadpan Snarker with a Vitriolic Best Buds relationship with most of her friends. I can't give an excerpt because I don't have any stories actually written down; I keep it all in my head.

I find it weird that she thinks of herself as more vampire than human, since she's pretty much mortal and has most of the same draw backs as humanity just with extra strength whens he drinks blood. I would think she's fooling herself, and I don't know what your vampires are like but the ones I'm used to wouldn't accept her. They'd suck her blood out and leave her for dead, laughing about it for presuming to think she was like them.
