"Who the fuck keeps overpowering my Accurse Eye!?!"

He forced another gout of blood out into a spear from her leg this time, and exerted enough effort this time to negate Tsuhiro's ability to interfere, hoping to ram it into Rhyme's torso.

Thus ends Tsuhiro's ability to pull a Deus ex Machina.

A voice cut in over the screams of pain and cursing.

"This hand of mine is burning red! It's loud roar heralds your destruction!: Galit Flare"

Suddenly a red orb with blasted towards Jun, leaving a glowing trail of superheated, ionized air in its wake.

Fero had appeared suddenly, drawn by the screaming and angered almost to the point of going berserk as he witnessed even the tail end of the demon's words and actions. The pavement cracked under the Judgement Lieutenant touched down on it and his sleeve had been scorched away by his own attack, but he was neither red-eyed or possessed of the shimmering aura that his short bursts of power normally required.

"Sorry I'm late."

Considering Fero had just arrived to see two people who he had sworn to protect and may have had feelings for being attacked along with an innocent student,he seemed surprisingly calm.

Tsukime was losing a lot of blood through her arm, while she saw her spear/leg moving violently. "SOMEBODY DO SOMETHING!! I'M DIEING HERE, GODDAMMIT!"

Blasted backward, Jae'yon was caught off guard by the sudden rush of Mana and left to pick himself up. He could not believe it, someone hurt him despite his abilities...he would pay for it. The Blood Spear separated from the main flow of Tsukime's leg and rushed at Fero.

In the meanwhile, he gathered the dolls around himself to prepare for the next phase of the fight.

At which point, he was taken by surprise again as something enormously powerful crashed into him from behind and blasted him into an empty shop, right through the steel gate made to keep gangsters out of the empty shop.

Matthew arrived, a fierce look on his face, and he rushed over to Tsukime's side, taking out some odd looking bandages, and wrapping them around the wounds. While the Mana that was put in those would hurt like hell, at least she'd heal quickly and live.

Now glaring over at the rising form of Jae'yon again, he said in a furious tone, "You monster, involving a civilian...I'll make sure you pay for that!!"

Creating a long sword with what looked like a revolving barrel at the start of the blade, and the guard being shaped somewhat like a large sphere, he brought it into a two handed grip, ready to fight.

Tsukime noticed the battle, but she was really tired and lacking of blood to go on for now. Luckily, she had a bigger liver, so blood supply might be fixed in matter of hours. She checked on her hair for a couple of apples, then took a look at her uniform petition. Next time, she added mentally, I'll tell mom to come after my school uniform...

Fero looked suddenly upset and actually gave an exasperated sigh.

"Tch. It's really uptight of you to steal my thunder like that in front of the student body, you know. After I put all that work into looking cool and dramatic for my appearance too."

Fero slammed his hands into the pavement, and from the twisting steel and pavement that rose up, four humanoid golems were formed, their eyes glowing red.

"Still, this guy's dolls seem pretty third rate. I'll at least be able to save face in front of the council members by destroying them with my superior craftsmanship."

Tsukime looked at them and just sighed. "That's good... now can you kill him, already?"

Fero gave Tsukihime a look that was a mix of surprise and amusement.

"You're new around here, aren't you?"

Jae'yon began to laugh in a decidedly demented way, "Well, fine then, if they're so low class compared to yours, lets test that out. But first, let me get into a more comfortable form. Squirm, El Pulpojo!"

Taking out a dagger, he stabbed himself in the chest and a massive red blast of energy erupted around him, destroying the entire shop he had landed in, rising into the sky and forming a huge red sphere around him. And with two roars, the sphere dissipated and revealed the enemy's true state.

What emerged was decidedly not pretty, especially in comparison to his first form. Gigantic, at least twenty five feet tall. Huge, corded arms ending in armored gauntlets with tentacles coming off of the end of the gauntlets, which seemed bizarrely fleshy. He now had a somewhat dragon-like face, the whole thing covered in an exoskeleton shaped like the head of a fox. There were no eyes in the conventional area, but instead, there was a single eye on each cheek near the mouth, and five on the forehead, and then countless eyes on the massive torso and the many squirming tentacles that lined it, except on the center, which had a massive second mouth full of teeth, the tongue also ending in what looked like an eye. The legs were somewhat crab-like, but had the appearance each of a fox's leg covered in crab-like exoskeletal armor, the feet doubled with a secondary foot protruding backward from the first.

These bizarre legs were attached to a lower torso somewhat like that of a spider, protruding backward and apparently ending in a tail with a snake's head on it.All eighteen of these bizarre limbs scratched at the floor, and suddenly even more eyes opened on the legs.

The creature cackled, "Yes...this is much more comfortable. Now, to begin!" One of the tentacles suddenly rushed at Tsukime, acting like a blade, moving so quickly not even Matthew could see it initially.

The teen just barely deflected the attack by parrying it with his sword, but he was sent flying by the recoil.

Rhyme sighed again, teleporting to the new girl's side.

"Rhyme Solei," she informed her with a nod, before seizing her arm and teleporting her inside. The secretary's office was on one side of Tsukime, the nurse's on the other.

The psychic made sure to get her bearings (and some sharp implements from the nurse) before teleporting back to the scene.

The now mutated foe would be pretty surprised by the sudden rain of sharp silver needles.

"Flow Eye!" Now a deep, dark tone rather than an adolescent shout, it seemed the wind "flowed" in a tunnel and deflected the sharp implements.

Looking down at Rhyme as if she was a very tasty morsel, the horror shambled toward her on its long legs, and its tentacles suddenly reached out toward her, grasping and trying to take hold of her.

The dolls were still there, and now they glowed a bright green color, and seemed to jet toward Fero now, trying to ram him with incredible force and speed.

Tsukime got a bit surprised, but something (or rather "somebody") told her to not follow further. She decided to check first on her uniform on the secretary's office before getting herself a fix. She knocks the door, waiting for somebody to come.

Rhyme just smirked, teleporting out of range (she was so glad she'd learned to do that) and yanking out a chunk of concrete—no, wait, that was an already shattered bit of sidewalk—to throw past the tentacles and right at the horror's set of five eyes. When the chunk was still in the air, she reappeared behind the demon and launched several dozen more needles at its unprotected backside.

The creature shattered the stone with one of its many tentacles, and then, as Rhyme appeared behind it, right before she attacked, another eye opened suddenly on its back, and fired a massive Demon Cannon blast at her at speeds the Demon Cannon should not have been capable of.

"Gwahahaha! You stupid bitch, this form has perfect 360 degrees vision, I can see everything!!"

Matthew suddenly leaped out and slashed at the creature, sending it hurdling backward, but then the tongue extended out of the mouth and smashed the teen backward into a wall and held him there.

"Ouch, that German pretty boy inherited his father's irritating qualities..."

Tsukime knocked the door of the secretary's office again, waiting for a response.

ARRRGH

Forgetting that sleeping right after eating was a ticket to pain, John woke up to a brief extremely painful cramp, and was writhing in pain. Thankfully, before he could destroy anything important in a fit of rage, he fell headfirst into his stupid bucket hat. Awake in the middle of the night, with nothing to do, he pulled out his secret stash of Physics reading material(I wish i made this up), and burned through a few chapte-

Boom?

Due to lack of direction, John quickly came upon the fight.

The demon accidentally released Matthew, and wrapped its tongue around John and constricted, hoping to break as many of his bones as possible before chucking him through a window and into a store, and only then firing eight beams of red hot energy out of some of its eyes after him.

Matthew, finally released from that disgusting hold, ran forward and switched out his sword for Solarion, a legendary sword that held solar energy. Slashing with it, a large explosion threw the monstrous Jae'yon backward.

Crack

John went through the window like a fist through a Jacob's cream cracker, broke his right arm, left leg, and had a tiny piece of shrapnel hit his...augh. He wrecked the entire shop, with shattered glass, cakes, buckets, and cookies all over the-

Buckets? Oh crap...

Overwhelmed with fear, and pain, John tried to surpress a shockingly painful scream, and luckily, it worked. Now it was a moderately annoying scream. Covered with buckets of sweat, he vanished into thin air, thanks to his powers of invisibility, and tried to drag himself as fast as he could from the monster's view. Even if he was incredibly slow, his invisibility was near perfect, so he could survive the night...As long as the monster can't smell sweat.

"Ghh—"

Rhyme twisted, avoiding part of the attack, but was blown backwards and hit a wall hard. Her head slammed back and she barely managed to teleport away, giving her head a good wrench but not cracking her skull like an egg.

She winced, slowly getting up as she surveyed the situation once again. Maybe she should withdraw with Yuki? It seemed unpleasant to abandon those already fighting, though...

The creature looked up at Rhyme and the central eye on its forehead began gathering energy, and then fired another large Demon Cannon blast at Rhyme.

This time, however, Matthew applied two strange pieces of paper to his legs and then flew up and called upon a new sword, namely Apollyon, a sword made for deflecting magic.

He held the sword forth and at first, the cannon was almost too strong. But then the long blade began to glow and he slashed through the attack, the air in front of him still crackling.

"Just how many eyes does this guy have?"

With that, Jae'yon tried to control Rhyme again, to make her grab Matthew and distract him.

Time to cement John's horrible luck.

Almost...there

And with that, Jae'yon returned fire in a huge barrage of blasts aimed at Matthew.

The swordsman managed to dodge the attacks, but now that Matthew was out of the way, the attacks closed in on John instead by sheer chance.

Yuki meanwhile had dashed off to the side to avoid one incoming attack or another. This was getting a bit crazy even for a gender-bent-by-magic magical girl! And look at all the people who'd shown up for the fight alongside her! She took her time to collect a large amount of energy in both fists before trying to attack again. These damned demons were all about ranged fighting as far as she could tell. Being annoyed already she figured it might feel better to go toe-to-toe like she used to in middle school.

"Go back to hell! Fist of the Northern Bear!" she shouted as she hurled herself at the foe with her newfound magics, pink energy pulsing around her fist as she intended to punch the thing right in the face.

The creature turned around as she approached and eighteen tentacles suddenly rushed right at Yuki, intending to grab her like a clutch of coiling anacondas.

Matthew tried to run over to help Yuki, but a new barrage of blasts distracted him as he was forced to slash through all of them, and he grimaced as it seemed this foe was more prepared and capable than the previous ones had been.
