Oy. God, I wish they'd give it up. Or atleast do it a way that simply defeats piracy.

I'm all for stopping piracy, but not when it takes out Fair Use.

I have no idea what's going on, but that was how it went, last I checked. The whole "we'll resume talks next month" thing sounds perfectly in-character for them, though.

From what I understand they were like "Oh, we'll resume talks next month," and then there was the blackout and then "Oh, we're dropping this now". Is that not how it went?

Interesting, the update at the bottom of the article mentions that a bunch of people dropped support after the blackout however the article I found says it was shelved already which didn't happen until after the blackout.

I am so confused...
