You missed the point. Main characters only. -_-

#IceBearForPresident@Pannic: Virtues of the Wasteland.
I like how Murky gets front-and-center treatment.
Yup. That's the one.
Anyway, chapter 3 of The Least of Us is pretty much ready for posting. Just need to add the "Level Up!" and "180 days left" notices to the end.
For an explanation, my fic has the gimmick that there's a countdown timer starting at 183 days.

Fanfiction I hate.Starting at 183? And you're at 180?
Good luck finishing the fic.

@Panic Murky was Hope, Littlepip was Sacrifice, Blackjack was Perseverence, and Puppysmiles was Innocence
Uhm, I think it should be the contrary here: Pip is more abour perseveranceand Bj more about sacrifice.
Also, what you think of Making Paharita from Anywhere but here The Rarity of the group?
Ummm... no. Littelpip's entire virtue WAS sacrifice, explicitly made clear.
Heh. The timer will go faster. It's just chapter 3 is only one day. Chapter 4, for example, is gonna cover, like, 5 days to a week.
Anyway, it's up on Fimfiction for all to see now.

Fanfiction I hate.Rita is an unrepentant sociopath. Why would she be part of the group? Why would she have a virtue at all?
If anything Rita is closer to Pinkie Pie. And that's still stretching.

#IceBearForPresidentPannic: Hopefully. I haven't updated in months, though I do have a PH update in the pipe.
Yay!
Death Cloud: But there is nothing much honest about her, not even as something driving her into corrupted version. She even lie about her name most of time.
You're forgetting: [fanfare]THE ELEMENT OF HONESTY[/fanfare] isn't honest about her name, her gender, or the fact that the Wasteland's primary source of news isn't who it was before she took over, and is a member of a secret society! And that's just the overarching stuff she wears day to day. Basically, in this universe (if you accept the afterward), the standards to represent honesty are so low as to be nonexistent.
But yeah, I'm not a fan of the whole "corrupted virtue" thing, either.
And Littlepip has plenty in common with Twilight: for instance, until the end of season two, neither of them had any meaningful interpersonal relationships (or at least indications thereof) outside of work until they left their homes at the start of the story!
However, being the spark isn't so much a character similarity, as fulfilling a similar narrative role.
So every actor is a liar? that is what she is doing, DJ Pon-3 is a roll she plays on the radio. And name one outright lie she told that wasn't one that was REQUIRED for her to be able to keep that roll as SJ Pon-3 and do the mos good she could or the Wastes?
At all times she is totally honest about everything she can be, herself, and with herself. And holds the truth as being important, while knowing when sometimes, it's better o say nothing but never for her own gain.
Show, Don't Tell, don't believe the narration, believe in the events depicted. If anything, Littlepip is great at sacrificing other people, from pretty much the very beginning.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. You could make the argument that Littlepip sacrifices her morality, which is at least partially intentional.
That's kind of something that leaves a bad taste in one's mouth, though. The other part that was meant to illustrate the "Sacrifice" virtue, her shutting herself up with Celestia, is... infinitely less compelling, however, and that's what I think makes the "Sacrifice" theme fall flat.
Now, you could certainly argue in favor of Littlepip being selfless, in that she pursues her convictions with no thought to her own well-being or safety.
Fanfiction I hate. Why is it less compelling?

She constantly demonstrated just what her virtue was from the very start. It was shown in nearly every way and nearly everything she did.
Seraphem, I wanted to talk about PH on the FOE group in Fimfic, and who do I find doing the exact same stuff that he was doing here? You, always you. Give it a rest, will ya? You've made your point. No one wants to debate Littlepip with you.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. How else will he keep everyone from discovering his secret: that he, Seraphem, is the big Project Horizons fan?
Seraphem is Somber.
The don't go insulting her and making just plain false statements if you don't care to hear the counter to them. So... people complain about Fo E nonstop and do nothing but bash it and the characters.. yell at the person that defends it. But, no talking bad about PH?
Checking for accuracy...
Actually, nope! This is actually kimba's conversation we're in right now. He started it here, and instigated the argument here:
It's all kimba's fault!

I think Littlepip is not a very good pony at all.
Going to back that up?
Okay, new poll. Who in this topic likes Littlepip?
*raises hand*
LIES!... Steelhooves has Perseverance.
