I thought that fic was massive enough to deserve separate treatment.

I got a question though: is this Enclave based on the games, or is it some sort of parody of an existing State? For some reason it made me think of something between Sparta and Israel...

No, the Enclave is based on the games. In game canon it's the remnants of the United States government, who are a bunch of racist, elitist snobs that think everything in the Wasteland needs to die.

But the Enclave has a parlimentary system? And anyone in the USA can vote, but only those belonging to the Enclave can run for elections, with "belonging to the Enclave" meaning "enlisting for three years at least"? And General is an elected position?

It doesn't really get that much exposition in the games. No insight into their government or anything, really. You can look on the Fallout wikia for more information.

It talks about presidnets, but not about how elections work, who are citizens, ets. And they enacted an Eureka Seven plot? Is there a trope for that?

I should write an essay about why FE is so great. I love it so much. And even though kkat is writing at superhuman speed it's still not fast enough.

Those chapters of hers are interminable. AND they are plot-packed, action-packed, and emotion-packed, and suspenseful as hell. I really really hate her.

But seriously, how long has it taken her to write this? A year? A year and a half? In that time she's put out a book a book roughly a quarter the lenght of the entire Wheel Of Time series.

I did the math once when I was younger, it might be different now, but back then the average time between the different installments was two years. And Robert Jordan was a professional author. That's what he did all day.

^Kkat is appropriating adapting large chunks of the plot and characters from Fallout. That speeds things up. Now she's made canon of her own,it slows things down.

That last chapter,I was thinking,'There are only so many constraints you can apply to a problem before it becomes insoluble!'. Seriously,in the forest of FLAYYOURFACEOFF,which is on fire,with everyone wounded?

When I first heard of this my initial reaction was "wut". 22 chapters later and I'm hooked.

It's simply amazing how much this fic respects its respective inspirations*

yet is more than just "Fallout with ponies!" or "MLP Darker And Edgier!"

• The characters cry a lot, especially Lil'Pip. You probably won't cry as much. Not by a long shot.
• It's a World Half Full. Bad stuff happens, but the heroes fight very hard to keep from going morally bankrupt, and to improve the world around them. As far as I'm concerned, they're succeeding consistently, but they probably won't see it that way. Lil'Pip in particular is probably as bad as Edward Elric when it comes to angsting...

As for you, well, as far as villains go you might like Red Eye. He's very much like Toyotomi Hideyoshi. The Godess is pretty cool too. Aside from that, villains in this story are usually unlikeable assholes, and that's the end of it.

And, just like in the game, the characters get beat up a lot, and by that I mean a freaking lot. Thank goodness for Stimpaks and Rad-Away, is all I'm saying. Cause whenever it Could Have Been Messy, it has.

^^Long story short,our heroine is idealistic,but living in the Wasteland has tarnished more than a few souls,which causes her a lot of grief.

If you can't handle the darkness,Fallout Equestria: Pink Eyes is a lot more optimistic.

I just decided to star reading FE fic and you maked tread for this.

I'm asking: this fic can be fun to read for Fallout fan who played games other than F3 (including Fallout Tactis). How many reference to that games this fic have?

Yeah, I agree. Even though it's somewhat dark, the heartwarming and awesome moments just shine through all the more for that.
