Actually, Syven and Rach'an are on the Hamurrabi. It's kinda in the same state as the Ozymandias.

When is the next time you guys are going to the Citadel? I'm perfectly willing to wait two weeks for that to happen and get my character going, but not two months.

But I, being poor, have only my dreams. I have spread my dreams under your feet. Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

Pretty soon, actually. It really depends on time, but if we can get a bit of a jump in activity (on my end, to start) then we'll be there soon. It definately shouldn't take two months.

I'm thinking things will speed up when that join on tuchanka do so, plus, it'll be a relatively short visit, I predict. You can only do so many repairs in a place where building spaceships are prohibited on the pain of being blown the fuck up, after all. All in all, I'm guessing a week or so should do it

I thought you just couldn't put guns on spaceships, but everything else was fine.

Shit. I thought we were on the Ozzy.

In any case, which clan's territory are we landing in? Or are we landing in the middle of nowhere?

Sorta a bit of both. It's not a clan, but it's not barren, either.

I won't be surprised if we're stopping at some sort of merc base.

As for which ship we're on, Syven was talking to Una and Amy at the beginning, and I don't think it would make sense for him to contact someone on the other ship for orders...

Keep in mind that the crew, while separated, does function at times as a single unit. Really, Syven was only offering to help guard his own ship in the event of a breach. As for speaking with superiors on the Ozymandias, that's pretty much the only thing he can really do, seeing as he doesn't have a very permanent post. It was established it was the general comms he was using, he's just waiting for someone who needs help to direct him somewhere.

In terms of my own characters, i'm pretty much ready to go planetside. I would write some partial success at the water purifier, but honestly, i'm not too sure how to write an Engineers duties.

All right then. Just say you patched the pipeworks up and got the thing running again.

We should get a captain for the second ship.

Syven's probably ready for a break, too. I'm just waiting for command to call him down to the surface.

EDIT: Okay, it doesn't really matter whether Syven goes to the surface right now. If ground team needs reinforcements, though, feel free to call him in. In any case I'll be here from now till sunday, at least intermittently. And that's good news for me because I think Kardan's part will be somewhat more conversation-intensive than what I've been doing so far.

Seeing as Rach'an has less of a reason to be planetside than Syven does, it might be best to get some conversation going between the two. Where exactly is Syven, Cormorant?

As for Amy, she'll be planetside, but i'll make a post later, once i know if i can move Rach'an anywhere.

Speaking of Amy...

I'll more or less just throw this out there: My general idea for Amy being STL was that she had a couple of people under her command when directed by the GTL, save for ship-to-ship combat, i suppose. Pretty much just one or two routine ones, the rest being compromised by what type of person is needed.

If that would make logical sense, and if anyone actually wants to be in the Strike Team, just let me know: I have no problem with just going with the flow or having her command Red Shirts, if need be.

[up] Ah. So the Strike Team is more sneaky, whereas the Ground Team is blunt force.

Not sneaky, no, more objective driven. Say Jordan needs to flank some merc camp: He'd probably send Amy and some others to do it. Strike Team, by my logic, is for those things you need done that sending the entire crew to do is either too forward, attention grabbing or plain stupid to do.

So from what you're saying, Amy is the Bean to Jordan's Ender, basically.

Anyway, are we all just hoping aboard on Tuchanka then?

Syven is taking a break in the primary generator room (on deck 4, if you want to be specific). He's not too keen on going aground at the moment.

Once he joins, Kardan will be up for any job as long as it's combat or personnel training related. If there aren't enough people on the strike team, he might train the redshirts. I'm cool with having him on either team if it means he sees action.

We can introduce the new guys one of two ways. Either, they meet the ozzies by chance and think "oh, yeah, I can work with these people" or something similar, or the Ozzies go on a recruiting spree to kill time. If any of the new'uns have a preference as to how they'd like to be discovered, feel free to let us know grin

Jordan's going to check in with Kate first to figure out what's going on. He may not go down to Tuchanka, as being on a planet full of krogan with a head injury... yeah. Really good idea.

Kate's basically been put planetside already. Jordan could probably check by comms, but not in person.

Paragon, a note about your last post: Kardan is still wearing goggles so his damaged eye would be invisible; the only thing that would be noticed is the scar across the eye.

Did both ships land, or did the people on the ground just take a shuttle? One post mentioned being in orbit, another mentions the "boat" being at the port, and the next one says the "ship" is at the port.
