Creative possibilities are endless in that game, but the main roadblock is that Steam is loaded with so many awesome titles, and I have a wishlist of games that take priority over anything else for now.

Okay. Guess Steam does have lots of games to play...I'm thinking about getting FTL Faster Than Light sometime soon though.

It's a fun read, but definitely patience trying. It's just so dense.

I...haven't finished it. It's been forever since I last read it, and I was 1/4th or 1/3rd of the way, I think.

It really is proof of how much goddamn effort Tolkien put into world-building, though. From actual errors made by the author, an in-universe literary critique on the piece's historical significance, to an entire glossary, to just that wonderful vagueness in all the right places, just everything about it feels authentic, if that makes any sense. It feels like an actual collection of ancient tales from a time and world that didn't even goddamn exist.

Also, Tulkas is the best. He didn't even do much, compared to the other Valar, but giant, jolly muscle-bound bros are the best.

So, I was bored, so I went on Yahoo answers to determine which group was full of more a-holes; atheists or Christians.

Now, admittedly, this was a bad way to go about it, but I posted 2 questions: 'f*ck God', and 'f*ck atheism'.

The former got 3 replies and got reported within 5 minutes. The latter got 12 replies and reported in about half and hour. The former's replies were pretty much 'no', while the latter were rants about how I had claimed to be atheist in another question and how I was claiming using logic was stupid.

Conclusions: Christians no longer give a crap, while atheists are, at the very least, a bit pretentious.

That's not to say they had no valid points or anything, nor that all Christians/atheists are like that. Atheists just seem to care a bit more about arguing. ...Yeah 'pretentious' is the wrong word...

Edit: the 'f*ck God' question was reassigned to the 'teen' section. Dang it.

The "fuck god" question actually got more replies proportionate to the amount of time it was up before being reported- 5 minutes is less than 1/4 of 30 minutes. That can't really be the totality of the demographic, since it's not really a fair survey nor a big enough sample size to make generalisations. Also, that kind of shit is just asking to start a Flame War. I take no sides on this issue at the moment.

I would like to say that, irregardless of what my statistics say or what I think they say, I am absolutely neutral. I am atheist, but believe religion has many good points that I would like to look into.

Well, I know what my least ideal series would be: A Naïve Everygirl Vanilla Protagonist falls in love with a Marty Stu. But someone already took that idea with Twilight, so there isn't much to do now.

Just gonna drop this point here:That's not really a comparison. Because Atheism isn't a religion. It isn't an organised ideology and practice. It is exactly the opposite.

Atheism is about as organised religion as the whole of Monotheism beliefs are organised together. So that test is not really valid since it only compares it to Christianity.

While it was both a stupid idea and a stupid is test, the loudest groups in that section were atheists and Christians. It wasn't meant to compare the ideas, it was meant to compare their followers.

Well.

You can't really "follow" atheism by its very nature.

I'm a christian, and I have my lapses into imperfection (we, as humans, are imperfect, so duh, that happens), but it's a mostly pacifistic religion, so I'm not going to flame over it.

Now, can we talk about schools and teachers we don't like or something? I'd like to get out of here before any debates start.

That won't work. My school is catholic, and that's the only thing i hate about it. </flamebait>
