Reinvent them as another race. We have both Fae and Tolkenian Elves, after all.
Also, as promised I'm starting to work on the next update already, list to be posted soon.

Fairies and elves are from entirely different mythologies; the former is from the British Isles, the latter is of Germanic origin.

Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-We're spoiled by Elves/Eladrin from 4th edition~
>Spoiled
>By Eladrin
Yes, because everyone loves a race with naturally terrible defences.
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-They're Int/Cha now~
Oh right, I heard about that at some point. Seems like it could make an interesting Illusionist wizard, if I could get a gorram group.
Also, tildes~ are~ so~ camp~

Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-They make good Warlocks, and good Lazylords, and good psions.
Oooh, Fey-pact Warlock. Old (relative to the edition) and yet still so very fun to play.
And fuck warlords with the weapons they have proficiency in but never seem to use.
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-Lazy lazy lazy lords~
Here is the list. You have one week to vote on each- individually. Anything you do not list will be counted as a 'no'. Three 'yes' needed for inclusion.
- Abyssal gods
- servitors
- Elemental gnomes
- Abominations
- Exitus, God of Vengeance
- the traveler's Star
- Meikyuu Forest
- (Seven Sins gods)
- fashions
- The Old Lands
- The God's Edge
- Beast-folk
- Tims and the Bestial rings

I vote no on everything. Needs more reductionism!
Yes to: abyssal gods, Servitors, Abominations, traveler's star, Japanese name thingie forest (speaking of, we should have kiltsune. Or maybe we have too many shapeshifters already. I don't know.) the Old Lands, beast-folk, the bestial rings.
Suggest more work be done on: sorting out Exitus, Elemental Gnomes, the Gods' Edge, fashions.
Rewho?

Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-- Abyssal gods - No
- servitors - No, like the idea but think it could be better worked.
- Elemental gnomes - sure
- Abominations - No, more detail needed.
- Exitus, God of Vengeance
- The traveler's Star - yes
- Meikyuu Forest - yes
- (Seven Sins gods)- No
- fashions - Yes, and I have some ideas for why mages may use robes over other clothes .
- The Old Lands - Yes
- The God's Edge
- Beast-folk - Yes
- Tims and the Bestial rings - again unethical to vote on.
I'm going to with a No. Complexity FTW. In fact that seems to go against what we set out to do, reductionism will only lead to generalizations, Flanderization and Planet of Hats.

Rarely active, try DA/Tumblr Avatar by pippanaffie.deviantart.comAh right, that. We want lots of detail. Detail is good.
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-The aim here is a deep rich setting GM's, and players can really dig into, and consume and find themselves lost in the settings tones, plots, events and characters. The Gms and players aren't coming into a mostly blank simple world here, they're coming into a well-developed world and trying to find their place in it, like the real world.
This isn't just a general setting where people can plop down a fight, mage and rouge and kill orcs. Dozens of those exist.

Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-But you still need to focus on quality over quantity. A thread like this is "Let's throw ideas against the wall and see what sticks" in style, but that doesn't lead to things that link together logically, but rather it leads to "Hey, what are a bunch of cool ideas?"
It's better to focus on a few key issues and develop those. When those parts are developed, you can organically expand on the world by developing outwards from what you know.
I mean, that's what I did for Arcania.
Just cause it worked for the individual doesn't mean it will work for the whole, I mean I get what your saying but simplification isn't the answer.

I know it appears a bit schizophrenic, but that's because it's a list and not a book progressing from the core concept out. Once we're done or close to done, we'll likely be writing said book.

Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-Since GMs tend to use what they want and exclude what they don't anyway, I say the more ideas the better. And please note that the whole point of the main page is so that people can see what has been done and don't suggest stuff that contradicts it.
BTW should Tomu be listed as an official contributor?
PS: I'll vote later, I need to reread everything first.

No, I'm more of a consultant than anything.
Here's a thing. . . I'm kind of in agreement with Sijo on the point that one metamorphic race is likely enough. Elemental gnomes would be delicious (especially since gnomes were originally elemental spirits as I recall).
Hm. . . Perhaps the idea of gnomes as elementals and that more modern idea of gnomes as fairylike beings could work together somehow. . . Must think on this.
This would of course mean retconning the Sylvan in some form.

Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-Should I count your votes then?
Retconning this early would not be suggested.

I've said what we're doing about dwarves no less than half a dozen times.
