"I wrote "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" at my mother's house in Warrington. I was thinking about the Chinese I Ching, the Book of Changes... The Eastern concept is that whatever happens is all meant to be, and that there's no such thing as coincidence - every little item that's going down has a purpose. "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" was a simple study based on that theory. I decided to write a song based on the first thing I saw upon opening any book - as it would be a relative to that moment, at that time. I picked up a book at random, opened it, saw 'gently weeps', then laid the book down again and started the song."

If you don't like a single Frank Ocean song, you have no soul.I know that, but it doesn't really answer my question.
Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information. The point is that it's not really about anything. Like Phil Collin's "In the air tonight" or whatever it's called.
Mura: -flips the bird to veterinary science with one hand and Euclidean geometry with the other-WMGGW is pomo.
Not every song is a love song.

If you don't like a single Frank Ocean song, you have no soul.I see your point. The word choice is still a bit eyebrow-raising, though.

Insert witty and clever quip here. My page, as the database hates my handle. The live version of this kicks ass.
More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/Which one you mean? I know there's one on that George Harrison "Greatest Hits" compilation that was put out a year or two ago (which I don't currently own/haven't listened to) and there's one on his "Live in Japan" (with Eric Clapton and his band) album (and that indeed kicks plenty ass)...and I'm pretty sure that The Concert for Bangladesh has it too, but I haven't seen/listened to that yet.

More Buscemi at http://forum.reelsociety.com/"Psycho guitar" indeed.
Are there any good cover versions of this song? I've heard the one by Prince, and I've heard the one by Toto, both of which are quite good. Any others worth listening to?
There's Jeff Healey's version:
The peppered up version of George's original demo (with an orchestral score by George Martin added) on the LOVE album is pretty good too, if you haven't heard it.

This is something that's been nagging at the back of my mind for a while.
"I don't know how you were diverted/ you were perverted too/ I don't know how you were inverted/ no one alerted you"
Is the guy in the song implying that his girlfriend left him for another woman? A Google search suggests that I'm the only person this has occurred to. Am I just reading too much into things?
