Held Gaze is the duplicate, since I uploaded that image, and then put it on Rule of Romantic.

I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid. It fits Held Gaze better, though.
Either way.
Man, I'm really coming up dry here... guess I'm not that into romantic plots? I suppose a painting/sculpture illustrating a passionate moment would work for Rule of Romantic — this one◊ or something more colourful/less naked... Perhaps a still from Titanic or a Disney movie...
There was a Cracked article about how Superman (I forget in which movie) turns back time to rescue Lois, even though that means he chooses to let a town get destroyed while he saves her. An image of him carrying her or something might be appropriate here... Rule of Romantic means the movie must show him saving her, town or no town.
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And even if it is broke, just ignore it and maybe it'll be sort of OK — like the environment."It works much better on Held Gaze. There's absolutely nothing in it that requires the willing suspension of disbelief due to it being romantic. It's just two attractive people looking at each other.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Agreeing that it works much better on Held Gaze; I went ahead and pulled it and linked this thread in the edit reason.
Given the start of the Rule of Romantic page, I'm inclined to say "no pic".

What do you mean "no pic"? If there is a picture that shows the trope, it shows the trope.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.Yeah, we have pics for all the other Rule Of... tropes, so I'm sure we can agree on something. If we don't want to foster confusion with the 19th-century artistic movement, then we'll just use an image that is clearly not from that period or from "high art" in general. (Not that I think confusion would be an issue anyway, due to the "Rule Of" title.)
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And even if it is broke, just ignore it and maybe it'll be sort of OK — like the environment."Clock is set.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No further action is to be taken based on this thread.
Held Gaze and Rule of Romantic share the same image.
I feel like we could easily find a different image for one of these, for variety's sake.
