How do I create a new article?

This piece of scheibe site format makes it harder than necessary to even interact with your own profile, let alone create an article that requires what?

I desperately want to contribute to this site by putting up an article about a pair of quite popular LP:ers and their series, Spike and Barley Play. So if someone could explain step-by-step-by-step and walk me through it, i'd appreciate it a bunch.

Okay, now that I have the page set up and summarized the subject, how do I add tropes there?

List them down with bullet points, i.e.

* [Trope Name]: In Episode X, blah blah blah blah.

Don't forget to alphabetize the list.

I've made two changes to it: I've moved it to the Web Original Namespace (WebOriginal.Spike And Barley Play) and I've corrected the name capitalization, so that it will always display properly on the main page.

Those are both things that would need to be corrected sooner or later. It's easier to do it now.

Now, the last thing you need to do is crosswick your tropes, and index the page.

Crosswicking means that every trope that you have listed on WebOriginal.Spike And Barley Play should have a corresponding entry for WebOriginal/SpikeAndBarleyPlay on the trope's page. That starts the wiki magic, as people see both the work on the trope pages and the tropes on the work page.

Take a look through the Index-Index, and find at least one index that it fits on. Open that/those index page(s), and add WebOriginal/SpikeAndBarleyPlay in the correct alphabetical order. That will generate the blue nav bars at the bottom and get rid of the little nag note that it isn't indexed.

If you're having capitalization issues, it's most likely The Problem with Pen Island. If not, use the custom titler to force it.

Hey, you said it was your first page, and it is kind of involved, especially for a works page in a namespace. We're generally pretty forgiving of honest errors.

It's the vandals and the people who just don't bother to learn that we send the rabid marmosets after.
